Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mainz

My second stay was like the first - super pleasant and uncomplicated! The apartment offers everything for a pleasant overnight stay in Wiesbaden. I'd love to come back.

The fisherman's house in Kaub is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Dirk is a super nice host and provided us with a lot of practical information and greeted us personally upon arrival. The cottage is lovingly renovated and every room tells history(s). You can feel that every item is not in place for no reason and that there is a reminder of this. We loved spending time here. A bit like in a museum and yet you don't feel like you can't move freely and live in the house. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the outdoor seating with a glass of wine in the evening after hiking. The Rhine Valley is particularly beautiful at this point, so the accommodation is the ideal base camp for hiking in the area. We would come back any time!

Stephanie’s place is the prettiest and loveliest Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. The pictures accurately represent how beautiful her home is. It’s incredibly homey, with all the touches that make it feel like you’re coming back to a home after a full day out. The view of the horse farm is so nice to observe while having breakfast in the mornings. And the backyard was lovely to have a beer in the afternoon while listening to the sounds of nature. The location was nice as it was away from the center of everything so we had a reprieve from the business of it all. It was a great location to explore so many towns in the Rhine. Stephanie’s recommendations were so helpful too (loved the winery/wine bar that’s just 5 min from the house!) I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. The natural lighting, the space, I could go on and on!

It was a beautiful, serene place, ideal for a time off of the busy urban setting. Although I did not get the opportunity to fully enjoy the place, since I was on a trip for an official purpose, I'm sure ill return if i get the opportunity.

Our best Airbnb to date! From booking through to departure we give it 5 *. Beautifully spacious, quiet and private house. Spotlessly clean, superbly equipped kitchen (inc a tea pot for the Brit traveller!),very comfortable large beds, excellent shower and plenty of towels.Super air filtration keeping the house cool in exceptional temps. Lots of cleaning products available. We loved the quiet private garden (at booking we thought it was shared with owners but no it’s all yours) with plenty of sunny and shady spaces.The chickens did not disturb us and we loved collecting the fresh eggs! Thanks too for the wine in the fridge (from the winery 5 min walk away- there is another one closer!) Close to bus service into Bingen. Lots of parking in the street and also on site. Owner very helpful pre arrival and throughout our stay, even allowing us an early check in. Lovely to be met in person. Without hesitation we would stay here again- the pictures simply do not do it justice. Book it now!

We had a nice experience staying at this Airbnb in Nierstein. The place was exactly as described and everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. The location was ideal for exploring the charming town, and it was just a short walk to local wineries, restaurants, and scenic views of the Rhine.

Our family of four had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home and would gladly return in the future! Pros: - Very modern, brand-new house - High-quality kitchen equipment (e.g., coffee machine, sharp knives, dishwasher, etc.) - Comfortable living room and bedroom furniture, including cozy beds with soft, high-quality linens - Modern bathroom with strong water pressure, plus complimentary shampoo, shower gel, and a hair dryer - Electric car charging system was a great added bonus Suggestions for improvement: - There was some noticeable dust around the house, particularly on shelves, in drawers, and in the corners. Including a vacuum cleaner (in addition to the robot cleaner, which wasn’t very effective on the second floor) would be helpful, especially for guests staying longer. That said, this is a relatively minor issue compared to many other Airbnbs we've stayed in. Overall: Highly recommend this property—an excellent stay!

Our stay was simply lovely. The house was perfect. Secluded, spacious, clean, well stocked, and having access to a washer and dryer was excellent. The place exudes charm and we could not have asked for more. Tamara was a great host. Available and responsive when needed, and allowed privacy the rest of our time. We really wished we could have stayed longer. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

My father son and I stayed here for 2 nights. The place was fantastic and what we needed. A very good restaurant is 20m away from the door. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area. Cheers

Sarah & Basti's apartment is absolutely top-notch – modern, clean and fully equipped. We felt right at home. The contact with Sarah & Basti was very friendly and check-in super flexible. Perfectly located for a (bicycle) vacation in the region. Clear recommendation!

Verena and Marc were absolutely wonderful. They were always available to help with anything I needed and truly made me feel at home. The place was comfortable, welcoming, and very well taken care of. If I ever return to Mainz, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The apartment is neutrally furnished and very tasteful down to the details (sockets). This allows you to quickly feel comfortable without being disturbed by the "personal" things of strangers. It is also fabulous that no television clouds the cultivated impression of the living room.

Heinz was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of valuable tips for my stay. He went out of his way and brought me a coffee machine so I could use the ground beans I brought with me.

Sparkling clean apartment in the basement. I didn't meet the hosts, but the check-in was well explained. Fast bus connection to Mainz and Wiesbaden. Very quiet location with a beautiful park nearby and the possibility to walk along the Rhine or take a boat trip. I can recommend it for anyone who wants to be on the go a lot during the day.

Great find! Tobias’ instructions were very clear, and the location was perfect. Appreciated the dedicated parking space, and had everything I needed during my stay. Tobias was very quick to respond when I had a question and I appreciated that! Near restaurants, next to the market on market days, but also private and comfortable. Thank you!

We have booked the apartment for our daughter's internship stay. Contact with Angelika was super uncomplicated and very friendly. Like apartment was very clean, has a great location if you want to go downtown and was very well equipped for these purposes. Our daughter felt very comfortable. Angelika was available for questions and tips all the time and you can clearly see that she is a host with heart and soul. We'd love to come back anytime!

A really nice, quiet and clean apartment. Everything is very spacious and airy. In the kitchen there is everything you need. The bathroom and toilet are spatially separated. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a single bed. Ideal for several guests and families who want to spend their holidays on the Rhine flexibly. The river can be reached in a few minutes on foot. A supermarket and the train station are also virtually "around the corner". We felt very comfortable there and say "thank you" again for the good time in Bingen.

Loved the place and the location is very nice too , close to the train station and easy to get around. Mary was lovely too and very friendly.

We stayed at the accommodation for two nights and it was just great. The location is as described, the apartment a dream. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. The fenced garden was excellent for sitting outside with our dog and enjoying the idyll. We will be happy to come back. Thank you Petra and Peter.

Bacharch was beautiful and our stay enhanced greatly by our stay at Ralf's airbnb. We loved admiring all the furnishings and art that Ralf has filled his home with whilst at the same time finding the space cosy and comfortable. The flat is three fights of stairs up so might not be for everyone, but we appreciated the exercise. We visited in early April and the town was quiet. Many of the restaurants were not yet open for the season. so bear that in mind if planning a trip at the same time of year. However , we did splash our on a fantastic Portuguese Fish Stew at the Rhein Hotel and really enjoyed a bottle of TonyJost Riesling from the local supermarket. The weather was very kind and we loved all the spring blossom and seeing the spring wild flowers and early butterflies amongst the vines. We took a boat trip to Bingen and visited one of the Rhein castles by train. All in all a great few days. If you get the chance rest up on one of the wooden loungers down by the river's edge

A beautiful modern new apartment, with everything you need. A quiet, beautiful location on the outskirts of the village, directly on a hiking trail through the vineyards. We really liked the garden belonging to the apartment with loungers and outdoor seating. Everything is great, many thanks to the nice landlords.

You feel right at home with Tom and Tina. Nothing is missing. And there is also free coffee and tea. Branded coffee☕️ Each room is designed with love. The absolute highlight is the balcony. Great You can look over a small, very quiet campsite directly on the Rhine and the Rheinfels castle. 1 bottle of wine from the local winery was allowed to be tasted The kitchen is more than well equipped. Bäcker and Rewe can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. And the ferry and shuttle station to the Loreley open-air stage are also within a 10-minute walk. We give 10 out of 10 points for everything.
