Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Maplewood

Hosts were very responsive. Very spacious set up lots of beds!!

House was gorgeous. The kiddos in our group were thrilled to find a triple bunk bed not shown in photos in the game room. Beds were comfortable and great outdoor space. Kitchen was well stocked. Many bedrooms didn’t have blinds but owners provided eye shades. It’s a bit of a hike down to the beach but trail and stairs are in good condition.

Having stayed at dozens of rental homes around the country, its easy for me when I come across a standout like this property. The home is possibly the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. If you intend to hang out at the house and enjoy the scenery, the back yard and kitchen are perfectly set up to entertain your guests. My family and I did not notice a single thing that we wanted or needed that was not on hand. Anyone looking to rent a property in this area of Washington, I would highly recommend this home! Im sure I will be back one day.

Arwen was a lovely host. There was a slight complication getting into the house and but she was so lovely and gracious. The decor and design of the house are impeccable… I’m trying to figure out if she could come decorate my house the same way! It truly felt like a retreat and a magical getaway. Just two things to note. — I stayed with my mother and daughters and the small steps up and down from room to room were a bit tricky for my 80-year-old mother. Also, the steps to the upstairs are very steep, though so worth the climb— so beautiful up there! — There is road noise from the traffic in the evening… lots of cars going across the spit, but we were able to tune it out. Arwen has thought of everything and it truly is a lovely relaxing house- like a garnet hill catalog or something! There was a slight complication getting into the house but Arwen was apologetic and responsive. Highly recommend the stay to any family!

My daughter and her Firefighter husband live just 4 blocks away so this was an ideal place to stay when I traveled with my youngest daughter to visit them and their new baby! (Her house is too small to accommodate guests now with the babe!) This house is adorable and in the cutest neighborhood in Tacoma. Super clean and stylish with simple modern comfort and charm. The backyard is a great spot to chill and have a glass of wine in the evening and the kitchen is well equipped. Probably the best selection of teas I’ve ever seen offered at an Airbnb and the coffee supplies (French Press) made a delicious cup each morning. Proctor neighborhood is safe and beautiful and just a quick walk to grocery, coffee, restaurants and bars. I will definitely put this on my “speed dial” for whenever I visit my daughter!

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

Our family of four loved staying at Kevin’s beautiful home! The house is beautifully designed and really a pleasure to spend time in. We were there for a wedding nearby and didn’t get to spend much time in the house, but it would be perfect for a truly relaxing vacation—we hope to return one day and do just that! Kevin was very responsive (and quickly too) to every question we had, and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try. One of our favorites was Susanne’s Bakery in Gig Harbor—so good for breakfast and lunch! We all fell in love with Gig Harbor. I highly recommend staying at Kevin’s home!

I stayed at Veronika’s place for one night and absolutely loved it. The space is beautifully decorated and had all the essential amenities I needed. It even had a huge bathtub that was a unique and cool touch that added to the relaxing vibe. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet, with a fantastic coffee spot just a few blocks away. Veronika was also incredibly responsive and helpful through the app, which made everything super smooth. It was a lovely, peaceful getaway and I’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful and tranquil spot, not far from the big city. Very comfortable place with great views across the lake. Even had some hummingbird visitors! Kristen and her husband were very friendly and helpful

Another wonderful stay! This is my second time to enjoy these accommodations, and I’ll always stay here when I’m in the area. The bed is SO comfy, hot shower, coffee and sweet cream, chocolates, water bottles… just a great stay. Such a cute little apartment! 💗

Perfect place to recover after surgery. The variety of places to sit and relax was excellent. Really enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook including good quality knives and cookware (much better than many other places I've stayed). Lots of thoughtful details like beach towels and chairs, outdoor blankets, binoculars to watch birds and boats, extra blankets and pillows. The host was responsive to a couple of special needs and we enjoyed the baked goods they provided. It is a bit of a drive to restaurants or grocery stores which was fine for us. It was perfect for rest and relaxation.

Great location! Beautiful view of Mt Rainier from the living room window 😍 very clean and has everything you might need. The apartment is just above a restaurant, shop and workout studio. One morning around 6am music started bumpin from the workout place waking my brother who was staying in the guest room so a sound machine might be helpful to pack if you’re worried about that. Also, the single bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, it may not be an issue for younger children/teens but adults will notice. The couch in the living room where the TV is located is very comfortable and an adult can easily fit on it to sleep. The portable A/C units work very well and kept our room and the living room nice and cool. Lanis was great answering questions and helping me when I ran into an issue getting our code to work on the door from the street. She answered our message immediately and reset the lock even though it was 10pm when we ran into the issue. Would stay here again!

Our stay Angela‘s Aphrodite Airbnb was fabulous! Angela is a gem! You can tell from her home that she cares about her guests’ comfort. Every request we had was met with friendliness and responsiveness. I highly recommend her place. :)

Julie's place was absolutely perfect! It had every amenity you could need, was super cute, wonderful neighborhood with a great park. Julie was also great with communication. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The one thing i would note is that if you're like me and have sensory issues the noise from the tv upstairs might bother you. (I did not say anything about this to Julie because i know it's a me issue) if i ever come back that way which hopefully i will i would love to stay again. Everything was wonderful and you created the perfect home away from home. Every night we actually felt like we were going "home" thanks again for your hospitality!!

This house is incredible. The location is perfect, walking distance to many food and drink spots. There is an amazing coffee shop right on the corner. Sauna and soaking tub are relaxing. The house is clean and organized and has clear instructions. Hosts are helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd time staying here. Had a great time and can't wait to come back again!

This property was perfect for our group stay. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor area—with its spacious patio and beautiful view—was a highlight. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court and various games available. Overall, a great experience—we would gladly return.

Daughter and I stayed here and completely fell in love with the house. Very nice layout and roomy, if you are staying at this house more than 1 night plan to cook . Kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials to host a BBQ or family casserole night. This was our first AIR B&B stay anywhere and let me tell you it's worth the money. Privacy we were able to take our doggo. Truly enjoyed it, Side note and it is probably me but this home has all of its bedrooms upstairs and someone who has had knee replacement and needing hip and back surgery it took a moment to get up and down the stairs. But it was worth it.

Stay in 5 star luxury accommodations while enjoying the most iconic view in Seattle! Ken’s lux townhome is the perfect base for discovering Seattle. Within minutes you’re enjoying DT Seattle, Pike Place market, the Seattle Space needle, or any of the DT sports venues. Several outstanding markets, including Whole Foods and Metropolitan Market, as well as fish right off the boat at near by Salmon Bay are close if you decide to cook in the chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Ken is an outstanding host offering local insights to the Seattle culture. Joe was extremely helpful and communicative with the check in and check out process.

What a pleasure to stay at Deepankar's beautiful property! We stayed at this beautiful and unique house for a weekend getaway with my wife and extended family (with 2 small kids), and couldn't ask for a better place! We had friends visit us and overall it turned out to be an extremely fun weekend with great catch ups, conversation, laughter, and a lots of fun thanks to this amazing house and wonderfully serene surrounding!! The house offers a lot of cool nooks, including a wide view of the beautiful Case Inlet right from the living room, well stocked kitchen, comfy recliners, a nice Solarium, a movie theater, a small gym, several bathrooms, hot tub, and outdoor patio leading to a small trail to kayaks - too much to explore!! Deepankar & Whitney were extremely helpful, communicative, flexible, and responsive. Highly recommended for a family stay or solitary retreat alike to mingle or relax, in the lap of nature with glimpses of harbor seals, birds, & views of beautiful water and sky!

This is our 2nd time staying at Dewen's place and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. If we had known we'd need an Airbnb for as long as we do, we would have planned to stay here the entire time. It is easily walkable to Starbucks, Fred Myers and several restaurants (5 minutes). A slightly longer walk will take you to Gilman Village where there are restaurants, shops and Issaquah Coffee Company. The location is private, peaceful (there is noise from the freeway and larger roads nearby, but it was not at all a problem for us) and beautiful. We often saw deer in the yard and saw tons of different kinds of birds. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and our dogs loved running around sniffing at the mole hills. The living/dining areas are very spacious, as is the master bedroom. There is an additional bedroom and a loft if you have a larger party. I would gladly stay here any time we need an Airbnb in the area.
