Séjour agréable, la maison est grande . Nous avons passé un bon séjour. L’emplacement de la maison est très bien (proche de Marco) et pratique car proche des commerces. La climatisation a été un plus pour le confort. Nous avons apprécié le four à bois et la pièce qui fait office de salle à manger. Le salon est très confortable et grand , idéal pour une grande famille comme nous. Le billard permet des soirées sympa.

Everything you can imagine or willing to be doing in this part of Portugal is 1 hour drive or less. In particular we were delighted by A&D Vineyards @ Quinta Santa Theresa and Vineyards from Quinta do Valado. Both quite different but really worth the experience. Great to cruise from Regua to Pinaho using the train that follow the river on the way to Regua and back from Pinhão. Obviously the beautiful and so charming city of Porto for a daily visit, again at 1 hour drive. Numerous other activities at walking distance from the residence, hiking or going for a short walk. And the swimming pool with its magnificent view of the Douro valley. Certainly one of the most amazing spot to just chill staring at the surroundings if the not the best one!!! The hosts are really part of the great experience we were lucky to have. Thank you so much Francisco and Theresa!

1st off, wow wow wow! what a beautiful villa. We Landed wel ahead check-in time & Jose rang on route and was very accommodating to allow to get in early. The Views when we got out the car were breath taking, the villa itself is beautiful too, so spacious, traditional Portuguese deco and you could tell this home is loved so much. We felt at home. So peaceful, we hired a car and the Intermache supermarket is worth a trip to stock up, only 13 mins drive. So many beautiful walks too. The local wine is a must too! We will absolutely return. Thank you Jose for allowing us to us your place.

Virkelig lækkert sted når man ønsker ro og udsigt. Bil er nødvendigt. Ikke for små børn og gangbesværede. Direkte adgang til at bade i floden. Utrolig opmærksom og hjælpsom vært. Køkkenet er utrolig vel ekviperet med alverdens køkkenmaskiner mv. Mangler kun en skarp kniv og brødkniv men ellers er alt der. Et par liggestole/solsenge mere ville være dejligt. Der er kun to af ældre model. Der kommer en bankelyd, når man bruger vand og trækker op på toiletterne, fordi der skal pumpes vand tilbage i tanken, men det går hurtigt væk igen. Man kan godt gå nogle ture, men det kræver gode ben og stedsans. Tætteste bageri og indkøb er 8-10 min. i bil på små snørklede bjergveje. Sød sort and der kom på besøg flere gange og som kunne håndfodres. Men alt i alt så er det et virkelig fint sted, der levede 100% op til vores forventninger, og værten får man ikke bedre.

Séjour très agréable chez Nuno, tout était à disposition pour que le séjour se passe bien, endroit calme et reposant. L’accès au complexe de piscine à proximité a ravi toute la famille ! Nous recommandons ce logement !

A nossa estadia foi simplesmente fantástica! O alojamento estava impecável, muito confortável e com todos os pormenores pensados ao detalhe. O anfitrião foi incansável — muito atencioso desde o primeiro momento, não descansou enquanto não chegámos (e chegámos mesmo muito tarde), bem como durante o dia seguinte teve a gentileza de nos contactar para saber se estava tudo a correr bem. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente bem recebidos. Sem dúvida um local onde queremos voltar e que recomendamos vivamente. Muito obrigada por tudo! ☺️

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Nuno’s place in Portugal. The home was exactly as described — clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The quiet surroundings made it an ideal escape, and I really appreciated the calm atmosphere. Nuno was a fantastic host — friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable spot to relax in Portugal, I highly recommend staying at Nuno’s place. Siamo stati 4 giorni nella casa di Ysabel, con le indicazioni ottenute é stato intuitivo trovare la casa che al nostro arrivo si presentava come da descrizione. Lo spazio risultava più che buono, la vista sul fiume un surplus, inoltre siamo riusciti comodamente a fare le nostre visite a Porto e dintorni in giornata in più ci sono tutti i servizi a 10 minuti dalla casa. Ysabel e il suo compagno sono stati discreti come se non ci fossero ma sempre pronti per un sorriso e se avessimo avuto bisogno di qualcosa. Grazie di tutto Tony Ileana e Vittorio

Eu super recomendo o Quarto da Maria, e a Maria realmente sabe como tratar os hóspedes, me deixou muito a vontade, sempre muito atenciosa, me orientou em tudo, tanto quanto a lugares que precisava ir e pontos maravilhosos na cidade como restaurante pontos pra tirar a melhor foto, curiosidades da região e aos seus arredores, e sem falar na pessoa que por ventura tem um coração que não cabe no peito, só tenho a agradecer a Deus por ter me direcionado até aqui na Hospedagem dela ... e muito obrigado 🫂 Maria "Gina", foi uma satisfação ficar na sua hospedagem ... o mundo seria muito melhor se existissem mais Marias por aí igual a essa ... muito obrigado e sucesso pra vc sua familia, e meus parabéns...

Die Unterkunft ist einfach grandios. Es ist mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und sehr naturnahe. Man hört die Vögel, das Wasser. Es ist einfach ein magischer Ort und perfekt um bei sich anzukommen oder die Ruhe zu genießen. Ich habe es geliebt am Wasser zu meditieren oder Yoga zu machen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Ganz besonderer Ort direkt am Douro. Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Pool, Liegen und Garten mit Obstbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
