Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

SO Apartments EG - Filzmoos, Neuberg

The accessible apartment is located in the ground floor of a solid wood house with two accommodation units in total. The house is placed in a sunny, quiet location at 1050m in height and has a beautiful view to the Dachstein massif. The ski areas Filzmoos (6 km), Flachau/Wagrain (16km) and Flachauwinkel/Zauchensee (22km) are easy to reach. At Altenmarkt you can relax in the Therme „Amadee“ in summer as well as in winter. Off the ski saison the region is a beautiful hiking area.

There is a large open plan living space kitchen dinner living room. The home was designed by combining two apartments into one creating a 220 sq m of lateral space. Perfect for two to three families to she a wonderful summer or winter experience in the mountains.

You'll love the place because of the healthy wood construction, the tiled stove, the quiet location, terrace, a fantastic view. My place is ideal for couples and guests traveling with their pets. Find peace and relaxation in the Embacher Försterhütte! Unwind, enjoy the rippling of the waterfall in the garden and admire the fantastic mountain panorama. The mountain hut invites you to relax with its flair, the numerous seats in the fresh air and a cozy wood-burning stove. There are shops right in the village and they can be reached on foot. In summer, the cabin can be reached by car, in winter it is a short walk.
