Cabin holiday rentals in Mariposa

Our family didn’t want to leave! The river/waterfall outside is gorgeous, and gives such a peaceful sound that can be heard up at the house. We brought out 4 kids and they loved the playground, waterfall, private bedrooms, and board games. Beautiful kitchen as well!

This house is a perfect place to take a family or a few couples…especially if you want to visit the National Parks. Yosemite is 48 and 27 minutes away depending on the entrances you want to use. Kings Canyon and Sequoia 25-30 minutes. Mark is super helpful and responsive. There is a reason he is a Super Host. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (be careful on the shared drive heading down…not the fault of the Air BNB…someone needs to fill the potholes…just stay left and you will make it) and it is just as described. We sat on the deck each night and watched the sunset and the stars as it is so quiet and peaceful. We hit the parks every day and picked up food locally for dinner…and it was all excellent. We cooked breakfast each day in the kitchen that has everything. And we loaded our water bottles and cooler from the ice machine that had enough ice for everything when we needed it! Great stay. Great place. Great price to split for 2-3 couples or for a large family.

The house was great and I'd recommend it to people looking for a jumping off point for Yosemite. Super comfy beds, great deck, enjoyable hot tub, beautiful location. Lots to love and we had a great time. A note for potential guests: The community (the Pine Mountain Lake Association) that the house is located within is currently experiencing heavy road work from 4/30/25-7/2/25. We had to wait 20+ mins to get into the neighborhood each time we came back, which was annoying to say the least. Not the fault of the airbnb host, but just FYI on expectations.

What an absolute perfect way for us to stay in shaver! The listing matched the pictures and description. The hosts responded so kindly and quick. It was an a quick and easy getaway for our family. Everything was clean and neat. The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. The pool and spa were very well kept and in a short beautiful walk away. I’m glad we came across this listing. I recommend this A+ location and host!

We enjoyed our stay!! This BnB exceeded our expectations, we were greeted with many complimentary items and it eased the stress of overpacking. The place felt super clean and comfortable, it felt like an actual home. If you’re going to book i recommend packing what you need and taking some food that way it’ll be more enjoyable. Kyong was an incredibly proactive and friendly host. So much helpful information was sent before our visit which made our trip so much easier. Conifer cabin was gorgeous, so light, bright and airy with a welcoming warm feeling. It was equipped with everything we needed and all was clean and fresh. The outdoor patio area was a real treat, using the hot tub looking up into the trees was amazing. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed in the cabin - wished we could have stayed longer!

By far my favorite air bnb I have stayed at. Great location and community and the perfect sized home for my family with tons of things to do.

I felt very at home here. It was clean and comfotable.. Has everything you need. The pool table was a bonus. Very close to yosemite. I would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Highly recommend for families. We enjoyed our stay at Buffy & Chip's home. They were super receptive since the beginning and shared suggestions to keep kids busy in Yosemite. The communication was on-point and it felt like staying at a friend's home with the way they welcomed us virtually and ensured our stay is comfortable. The house has all the kitchen utensils/spices if you want to cook. They are subtle touches in the home that makes you feel at home, but also gives it an upscale hotel feeling. We loved the board games and kids enjoyed the toys. We saw deers in the neighborhood that both my son and our puppy were excited about. The outside deck was so beautiful to sit and chat during early mornings and evenings. It is a 50 mins drive from Tunnel View and getting in/out is really easy. We also tried local pizza places and grocery stores/ got everything we needed. We are grateful to Buffy & Chip for sharing their home with our family and taking great care of us.

Such a beautiful place I fell in love and did not want to leave everything was so cute!Nick was very attentive and I appreciate it being dog friendly me and my pup had a wonderful time :)

Such a cute cabin. Was so nice to have laundry. I sort of gambled with booking this place since it is pet friendly, and I am allergic to dogs. But the place was very clean and I didn’t have any issues while there. Would definitely recommend staying here! The location was perfect for exploring Yosemite yet having access to restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures. Peaceful, clean, and convenient location for visiting Yosemite. Host is responsive and friendly. Had a wonderful stay and hope to be back someday!

Overall great experience. Appreciated all of the rooms were on the same level so our older family members didn't have any trouble getting around. Shawnda and Marc are gracious hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lauren’s Airbnb was the perfect spot for our Yosemite trip. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town and there are amazing local restaurants. It is also an hour and half away from the Yosemite entrance. The place itself was very clean and cozy!

Place is awesome, clean, comfortable, and has all the vibes of the park at your doorstep. Highly recommend

We loved the place and felt at home. House had everything we needed and more. The host is super responsive and friendly.The only thing is that it is a bit far from Yosemite Valley (1 hour and 20ish).

The Stay at Indian Peak Ranch was phenomenal. The perfect get away close enough to Yosemite and surrounding towns that the drive felt peaceful and scenic. The drive up to the cabin is definitely intimidating, but becomes easy after the first time round. All wheel drive and decent suspension suggested. The hot tub and pool was clean and the perfect private spa after a long day of hiking. The interior feels like a vintage flash back to the 70s but with modern accommodations. GREAT SOUND SYSTEM!! We found ourselves starting our day with local coffee, tunes, a dip in the pool, and an hour of looking down the valley of beauty. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and comforting, the smaller of the two showers definitely feels a bit cramped, but the water pressure makes up for the size. The kitchen has all of the utilities you need to make a good home cooked meal. Chad is a great host, super responsive, and very detailed Please leave Ms. Spidey alone!! It’s her house

Nice peaceful comfortable stay in the woods ! The log cabin feel is awesome and the place has ample space and beds. The check-in was the swiftest ever for any Airbnb I have done till date. Kudos on that to Jason!

My wife and I loved our stay. We’re from the Midwest so the area and Yosemite was completely different than anything we’re used to. This was honestly a great place to spend our trip for the price, comfort, and it was exactly what we needed to unwind after long days out at the national parks. Make sure to give yourself some time to stop in Mariposa. It ended up being a more memorable part of the trip than we expected. Also, make sure to get the BBQ there. You’ll thank me later!

Twain Harte is a cute little town. We especially enjoyed the Mini Golf! Our host left us with great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We mainly went to Yosemite, but I would spend more time in Twain Harte in the future. Cute A-frame cabin in a fantastic location!

This place is amazing! Margaret and Charlie are super friendly and knowledgeable with the area, including Yosemite. The location is great for visiting Yosemite during the day. And the house is very comfortable and lovely.

I cannot say enough good things about our host, Vicki, or her wonderful Sweet Mountain Retreat. Our entire stay was peaceful. Vicki is very attentive and communicates well. Overall 10 out of 10!

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon, and it was beautiful! The drive to Yosemite was a little over an hour, but we wouldn’t have done it differently. The drive was beautiful and very much worth the price we paid! Christian is also a phenomenal host!

My wife and I have stayed in a lot of airbnbs and this by far is the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, smelled clean, had a fully functional kitchen, had the most comfortable beds, and the views from out the windows is something we’ll never forget. We stayed for a month and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. The home is less than 5 minutes from the grocery store and other restaurants in town so it made getting around very easy. We both work from home and had no issue with WiFi speeds. The proximity to Yosemite is also a huge plus! You’re about 30 minutes from the gate. Can’t recommend this place enough to someone wanting a quiet and comfortable home to come back to after a long day of hiking.
