Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

Kurztrip übers Wochenende, ausgedehnter Wanderurlaub, oder Familienurlaub - Erholung ist garantiert. Hier ist der Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte schöne Wanderungen im Süden Thüringens. Der Rennsteig verläuft in 1,5 km Entfernung. Familien mit Kindern finden hier ein bei 30°C im Schatten nicht überfülltes Waldbad. Bei Schnee bietet eine Rodelbahn Spaß unweit des Hauses - Schlitten vorhanden! Die Gastgeberin webt. Bei Interesse können Gäste Einblick in das Kunsthandwerk des Webens erhalten.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (approx. 89m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The lock yard is idyllically situated on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. The holiday apartment is located in the center of Fehrenbach and is located on the 1st floor of a house built in 1925. The living room offers a comfortable couch as well as a 55 "oled TV with Netflix and MagentaTV. In the bedroom you will find a 1.6x2m bed and from the kitchen you have a nice view of the place. Comfortable for 2 persons. Earlier check-in and later check-out by arrangement.

The climatic health resort of Masserberg, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.
