The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

In de omgeving vind je de mogelijkheid voor veel activiteiten zoals natuur, wandelen, zwemmen, kanovaren, vissen, golfen, paardrijden, museumbezoek, winkel en horeca bezoek, steden, fietsen en minigolf. Super fast 5G internet, soft bed (140x200cm) Bathroom with hand and rain shower, complete kitchen with 4-burner stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and an oven. Table with nice seating chairs for eating or working on. Two armchairs to relax and a terrace with chairs and table with phenomenally unobstructed views over the countryside with the Midwolder forest on the horizon.

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor. Also equipped with a fridge with freezer and oven/microwave. The attractive living room with rural style has a 2 x 2-person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 p/st). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bike shed with power connection ( charging e-Bike)

Swimming water during the period May to September. Water slide and cable car over the water. Surrounded by sunbathing areas, with jetty on the new canal, which is in connection with the Oldambtmeer (3.5 km). Various eateries nearby. Shopping/shopping is possible in Winschoten or Groningen. Resp. 7 or 30 kilometers away.

B and (B) Op Steendam, the Front House

A stylishly furnished B&B, you stay in the restored front house from 1912. During the renovation, the history and the authentic colors of the early 20th century were taken into account. The B&B has its own toilet and bathroom. There is a small pantry with a fridge, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine. There's plenty of closet space for your clothes. The bedroom has a bed with 2 pcs. 80×200 cm mattresses and there is a sofa bed for 2 pers. in the sitting room.

The Golden Island is located in the annex of a beautiful city villa at the edge of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as The Golden Island, a villa neighborhood with homes built in the period 1910-1930. The Golden Island is set in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seat, kitchen, wc shower, king size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.
