Contemporary Light Filled Apartment Close to the City Centre

Walk home along the Union Canal and then kick back on the sofa after a day exploring Edinburgh. This bright flat boasts an open concept with a white palette enhanced with pops of bright colour. It benefits from underground parking. The apartment is situated in a modern development in Shandon to the west of the City Centre. Within the flat there is one bedroom with a king sized bed with high quality linens and plenty of wardrobe space. A spacious hall leads into a bright open plan living room/kitchen with a large sofa, coffee table, TV, and dining area. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a bath with overhead rainforest shower as well as a handheld shower head. Toiletries and towels are provided. Within the development there is a shared garden and underground parking where you will have one allocated parking space with key fob. There is also secure bike storage available. BT TV Wifi Underground Parking I will do my best to meet every guest on arrival but if this is not possible I have a key safe installed for flexibility. I live in Edinburgh with my girlfriend and therefore one of us will always be around should you need any assistance. The apartment is in Shandon, a residential district to the west of Edinburgh city centre. It’s next to Harrison Park and the Union Canal. There are good transport links to the centre and the airport. The bus stop is located a minute walk from the flat, from which there are regular buses to the city centre (10 mins) or to the airport (45 mins), if you are driving or getting a taxi to the airport then should only take around 20 mins depending on traffic. A taxi into town would take around 5-10 mins or it is a 30 minute walk.

Our spacious house is absolutely perfect for family/extended family time in Edinburgh. The house, in a superb location provides the ideal base to explore the sights. Situated in a leafy crescent in up-market Merchiston this modern house has all the facilities of Bruntsfield and Morningside on the doorstep yet is only a short bus ride or scenic walk into the centre. An absolutely gorgeous quirky apartment, full of character and colour. High ceilings with beautiful cornices and ceiling roses. Large windows that flood with light. Anna and joe are great hosts, they are very kind and ask you what you need. Living with them in their flat together is absolutely no problem. If you like cats, you will enjoy their cat Stanley very much. The kitchen has all stuff to cook, the room finds place for two people and is very cozy. I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

Quiet canalside en-suite double bedroom

The house is on a lovely, quiet street, and it was so easy to get around – just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, and then a quick ride right to the city center. The inside is absolutely beautiful and decorated with taste. I especially loved the backyard and the wonderful kitchen. My room is cozy and comfortable, though not very large, I slept perfectly every night. Laura and Anton are so warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. They even let me leave my luggage with them for three days while I was on a trip to the Highlands, which I am incredibly grateful for. They made me feel completely at home :) I also really appreciated Laura's walking route recommendations for exploring Edinburgh. Following her tips, I got to see so many of the main sights. It truly is a magical, medieval city! Really enjoyed the stay Thank you, Laura and Anton, for a wonderfu
