Waterfront holiday rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

We absolutely had a lovely stay. The view was breathtaking, from waking up in the morning with coffee on the terrace to cozy dinner at home with the beautiful view. Simply amazing. The apartment bad everything you needed and more, ready to move in and has back up in case you forgot anything. Parking across the street was a big bonus. The location itself is amazing. Quiet cute town, easy to get in and out and it was centrally located to so many other destinations around the coast. If you’re a seafood loved there are amazing restaurants just downstairs on the water with true Sicilian seafood cuisine. the area. We will be back for sure.

We stayed with our son at Rosario and Mariela's house for 8 days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even before our arrival, Rosario accompanied us, gave us detailed information and helped and advised on every issue. Rosario was always available and helped with joy and goodwill. He always asked if we were missing anything. When we arrived, the best of Sicilian produce awaited us, including pastries, yogurt and milk, a six-pack of water and other products. Rosario allowed us to arrive early and leave later, according to our flight times. In addition, at the end he drove our son to the train station. In conclusion, when we come to Sicily again, we will be happy to return and will also recommend them to friends and acquaintances. We were very pleased with Damiano’s place. The flat is located right at the seafront. The street above the building was a bit noisy during the night but with windows closed we were able to sleep. We enjoyed the balcony to relax from daily trips. We even cooked one evening in the well equipped kitchen. Damiano was very responsive when we had a question. We highly recommend this place.

The area in which the residence is located is downright fantastic. The terrace, the large garden with many trees, shrubs and flowers and the view of the sea is unique, a paradise. A car is a necessity to get to places, do shopping and go out. Our contact with Maria Novella and Federico was very warm. The tips (restaurants and interesting sights) they gave us were worth their weight in gold. Be sure to use the specified coordinates to get to the location without any problems. The accommodation is otherwise not so easy to find. In short, this place is one in a thousand, the landlords still know what the real philosophy of AirBnb can be.

Great stay at Alessandra's, who was very attentive to us. Very welcoming and cheerful host. When we arrived, Alessandra had left us something to eat (pasta, tomato sauce, bottle of wine, fruit juice, etc.), which is very much appreciated! The apartment is very well located in the residence, close to the pool and we had a very nice view of Mount Etna. Very good geographical location for visiting Eastern Sicily. A perfect place to spend a family vacation. Thanks again to Alessandra.

The apartment is wonderful even in January in the rain and the terrance just amazing with views of the sunrise over the sea one side and a snow capped Mt Etna the other. Both Giuseppe and his mum, very helpful and generous hosts, with fridge stocked and breakfast food provided. Also the wi-fi is super fast and was great for working video calls and Netflix. The place is a home with every single small detail making you feel amazed and at home! Great place to stay, which enhances further the local experience.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

We had an excellent stay in Dario’s lovely apartment. The roof terrace with the jacuzzi and view of Etna is stunning! The rest of the apartment is spacious, well designed and comfortable - the kitchen was remarkably well equipped. Dario was a very responsive and helpful host and Riposto is well located for visiting the East coast of Sicily.

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.

Great starting location for exploring the island, free parking in front of the property. A house with a soul and a place for a large family, with everything you need to spend time in it comfortably. A very friendly host who serves with advice and recommendations on what to see and where to eat well in the area, I highly recommend!

Giuseppe is a wonderful host - very helpful, kind and considerate. We felt at home with him. The property is wonderful! Very close to the sea, with a wonderful bay and almost no tourists. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle, Giuseppe's house is perfect! You will find everything you need for your vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with a comfortable bed and a private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs, barbecue area and outdoor shower. It is a great starting point for exploring Catania, Taormina or Syracuse. In the area there are many grocery stores, a pharmacy and a hospital, but to enjoy all the services you will need a car, which you can rent at the airport or in Augusta. Salvo is an incredibly responsive, gracious and helpful host. He greeted us upon our arrival, showed us around the HUGE apartment and provided fruit, drinks (water, wine, beer), maps, directions and TONS of recommendations for food and activities. The apartment was easy to find, well appointed and spotless. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and a fully stocked kitchen. It was a 5 minute walk from the central train station and bus terminal, and everything we wanted to see and do in Catania was reachable by foot in 30 mins or less. My wife and I prefer to be outside the main tourist areas, and the local feel of the area was awesome. Vehicle traffic was audible inside the apartment, but with the air conditioner running it wasn’t a problem for us. We had a fantastic 6-night stay in Catania and would highly recommend Salvo and his apartment.

Diego was the best host ever! He welcomed us personally and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. He’s also an experienced tour operator and gave us fantastic tips on what to do, where to eat, and more. He even helped us organize an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just steps away from the sea. We use Airbnb regularly, and Diego is definitely the best hosts we’ve had!

The view from the large balcony is absolutely stunning! Having a dedicated parking spot made the trip much easier.

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

The apartment is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, very contemporary with a balcony overlooking the sea at the front and a view of mount Etna at the back. The town, Stazzo, is a small Sicilian fishing village with few tourists. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were welcomed and found it to be a very friendly neighborhood with neighbours meeting on the seafront, passing the time of day with each other. It was lovely to see. When we were there the beaches were just starting to be converted for the summer season with wooden platforms being installed over the rocks but we were happy to swim and sunbathe on the many flat areas carved out on the rocks. All in all, it was a great base to explore the region, you will need a car but you can park right on front of the house, no problem.
