Hotel holiday rentals in Middletown

I stayed at Chris’ place with my husband and 3 month old for 3 nights. Great location on Thames Street and walkable to restaurants, shops, Cliff Walk, and more. You can definitely hear the people on the 3rd floor, but the AC’s in each bedroom helped with that and was not a deal breaker. The place was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and had ample TV’s and bathrooms which was great. We’d definitely stay here again!

We would love to return. We had a wedding a the Newport Beach house so it was super easy to walk across the street and walk back after the event.

Wonderful place....beautiful, clean, comfortable and so much more. Can walk to lots of restaurants, etc. Or Uber will pick you up on the corner which we did. Mansions close, too. The morning downstairs breakfast was much more than expected, delicious! The check in lady and everyone who worked there were polite and helpful. Much better than a hotel! I highly recommend.

Amazing stay, perfect location and great amenities.

I was so happy to have a room with a view of the ocean (though it included a view of some telephone lines and street lights, just fyi) and to be literally across the street from the beach. The room was spacious and calm, with lots of natural light, the bed was huge and comfy and clean, the parking was easy, and I really thought this was a great base for my Newport trip. Note; I stayed int he original building.

Clean, easy, 1 mile to downtown Newport, walk across to the beach, great parking. Good value, last min end of Summer booking.

This was a perfect place for our last minute getaway to Newport for the night! Easy to find, safe and quality parking and walkable to all of the main attractions. Mark was a great host. We stayed in the apartment off of the main house and will plan to return for stays in the future! Thanks for having us! See you soon! :)

Overall a great price for the room and nights! Was confused since the hotel is in two separate buildings. And the pictures showed what the rooms looked like on what I am assuming was the hotel not the suite we booked and the view was different but still beautiful!

Nice place has all the amenities. Close to shopping and your bus stop. Will definitely stay again.

Great room near restaurants and activities! Really enjoyed the pool access, included parking and daily activities! Would definitely recommend ☺️

Excellent service

The place was quaint, loved the scenery. Tim was nice enough to help me with my bag and go over all of the policies and answer any questions I had. The location was good for the events I needed to attend. I enjoyed taking all the back roads to Westerly, Preston, Stonington and Mystic, as well as a few others. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend The Stagecoach Inn.

The Surf Shack was the perfect location and stay for me and my daughter. Short walk to beach and shops and about a 15 minute drive to URI! Bonus was the restaurant and yummy food. Will be back again!

I have 2 dogs and this was a great spot for us. Probably the only place in that part of the state that could accommodate me and I would recommend to anyone traveling through the area.

This place was awesome. The room was beautifully designed, everything was clean, and the beds were so comfy. We are bummed we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant downstairs.

We loved this spot! So cute and great location. They were super nice to help us order food from their restaurant so we could have it delivered to our room. Also loved sitting on the back porch in the sun! Overall we really enjoyed and would recommend

We visit Gansett frequently and had watched the evolution of The Surf Shack over the last few seasons; we were excited for the chance to stay there during a friend’s recent wedding weekend. Our room and common areas looked just like the photos. We enjoyed hanging out on the shared decks. Check in and out was extremely easy - the Keycafe is so cool! The restaurant and bar were never open during the few hours we had downtime, but we look forward to trying them out later this summer.
