Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Minneapolis

The incredible location of this Airbnb truly made my staycation! Being within walking distance of so many award-winning restaurants and bars, including some with James Beard-recognized chefs, made for an amazing weekend! The variety and quality of food and drink options within walking distance is a major draw, even if you don't consider yourself a “foodie.” The home itself was spotless, stylish, and had a great vibe. It would also be a fantastic work-from-home spot thanks to its comfortable setup and atmosphere. Whether I'm looking for a weekend of fun or a productive escape, I’d definitely stay here again!

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. Thanks, Samantha!

Perfect place to stay for the weekend in Minneapolis! Easy to get around Becky was amazing and flexible with anything we requested. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Felt at home, kinda felt like a treehouse for the family!

Air traffic noise may surprise guests. Neighbor on the right tends to creep around his yard. Not enough light in the bedroom to see things in the closet. Otherwise great little house and very well appointed.

I booked these accommodations to be near the Center for Irish Music. It was a 3 minute drive with no traffic. Rob and Sosan are very friendly and cool to chat with. This location is also not far to a super Target and Cub foods and several parks. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet.

Zachary is a great communicator. Instructions are clear. The apartment is spacious and the beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows and comforters. A couple of coffee and brunch places within walking distance but easy uber rides to many desirable places eg MSP airport, Allianz field, the Mississipi river, the mall of America etc...

Great place, well situated. And I was able to get street parking each night. Thomas’ instructions were perfect.

I enjoyed my visit at Beth's, stayed for a week and the bed was super comfortable! Great value, I highly recommend!

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

We found Andy's place to be really nice. The place was not clean when we arrived at 4pm (check-in was at 3pm)however it seemed to a honest mistake with the cleaner forgetting and was remedied that evening. Andy and his brother were responsive immediately to our concerns. Overall, the place is conveniently located, easy to street park, nicely furnished, comfortable and stocked with basics the bathroom/kitchen such as soap, coffee/tea etc. I would recommend it!

The pictures do not do this air bnb justice. We loved this air bnb and one of the best we have stayed in. The home is nice and inviting. It was super clean and everything worked as it should. The air bnb was nicely done and didn’t have any squeaky floors. The residence is separate from the main hosts. They will wave and say hi but they are not a bother. They are responsive as well. There is WiFi from 6am-10 pm, which wasn’t an issue for us. With most air bnbs, they give 1 roll of toilet paper but there are stores within 6 miles. Theres lot of parks and shopping in the area and it’s a safe neighborhood. There is a love seat in the living room. The only small complaint is the bed is not as pictured. My husband is very tall and does not fit in bed with a footboard. The bed in the listing showed one without a footboard but when we got there, there was a different bed frame. Not a huge issue though and we made it work.

I would like to give this apartment a 5 for the clean, pleasant environment inside and out and good host communication. However, it was not quite as well equipped as I typically find in an airbnb and therefore a 4 for value.

My partner and I just needed a night away from the kids. This was the perfect spot for us to land after having a much needed date night. There are plenty of options within a 5 min drive to get food and drinks. It was a little difficult to get inside due to there being a lock to get in the house and another lock to access the key to get upstairs to the unit. But honestly that made the night more fun because it was like a mini escape room that my partner and I had to figure out together and it made the climb up the stairs more rewarding. The unit itself was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures. There's no tv but we didn't need it. We took advantage of playing music on the speaker and having good conversation over drinks and playing cards. The rain was hitting the skylight windows and it was very romantic. I highly recommend and hope we can return soon.

We loved our stay at this charming, clean and comfortable unit. The location was great, close to the Macalester campus, coffee shops and other local spots. Also Jean-Claude was a responsive and kind host. We would definitely come back!

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

There was one issue with the tub and bath sink drain. They had someone out the next morning. Very responsive. The communication was also very good, again very responsive with any questions I had.

We took a few days off to explore the twin cities and used the Airbnb as our base. The hosts were wonderful and were very proactive to ensure we had a great stay. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable, and also had all of the amenities we needed. Overall great place, great hosts! I would stay there again.

The stay was very nice. Great and creative decor that made the stay very comfortable with great energy. Nice games to play, variety of restaurants, arcade and park/playground in neighborhood. Awesome tv and sound for movie watching. Beds are super comfortable. Beautiful appliances and I love the hand soap fragrance, towels for removing. make-up (those extra details make a difference).

This was our second time booking with Lisa, however for a different unit. Again, it was a great stay. I enjoyed the coziness of this condo and quietness of the neighborhood despite being in the city. She has everything you need for cooking and baking. I work remotely and the internet speed was great. The bed was super comfortable. I appreciated the on-site laundry too. Everyone was friendly overall!
