Beach house holiday rentals in Misquamicut State Beach

The Ashford Lake cottage was absolutely perfect for our sister birthday weekend! The hot tub, fire pit, screened in porch, and dock all were perfect for catching up, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. Jason was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't recommend this cottage enough and hope to visit again in the future!

Our host - John - could not do enough for us! Extremely friendly and gracious. We had an opportunity to have time to chat and he helped us pick out local restaurants. Highly recommend John's cabins. They are quaint, quiet and relaxing! Would love to go back again! Highly recommend!

This was our second stay. The house is cute and comfortable. Nice outdoor space with a sandy beach area and shallow lake entry. Jena is great to work with.

The house was clean, well-decorated, had all the things we needed, and private, with a long wooded lot leading down to the bay. We women friends were totally comfortable there. When we couldn’t find the entrance to the driveway off the main road, she stayed on the phone & directed us until we found it. Excellent choice!

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

I went there to relax and to see and hear the ocean... it didn't disappoint... Not only sand and ocean waves, but I got a birds-eye view of a small members only marina (dealing mostly in sailboats). Plus the added enjoyment of watch boat traffic since we're close to NY and the islands. Plenty of beach to play on and constant sm wave action. Lots of restaurants, stores and Costco all within 15 minutes of the house if you need something. I would definitely return to enjoy this sanctuary. Sandy Y. Manchester CT

Wonderful weekend stay at Kathleen’s oceanfront cottage. Charming neighborhood makes you consider moving to Newport if you could afford it! Loved our stay and would love to return in the future. Kathleen is a superb and welcoming host.

This house was PERFECT for us - four women returning to their college for their 45th reunion. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was extremely comfortable. Carlos was responsive and helpful. We would definitely return to this house.

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

Great hidden little gem in MTK, close to town. Perfect space inside, and out. Pet friendly was an extreme plus. Will be back.

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

If you’re looking for a beautiful Airbnb close to downtown Newport, look no further! This is an amazing home about 10 minutes from the wharf area. My family of 6 stayed for 4 nights and had the best time! The house was perfect! Spacious, comfortable, pristine, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous yard and pool, comfortable beds and linens! The host, Za, provided very clear instructions regarding check in and check out. We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival! This is one of the best Airbnbs that we’ve stayed at! Will definitely come back!!!

Beautiful home, very clean, spacious and comfortable to stay with the family. We used the grill on multiple occasions and it was easy to use. The fire pitt was also enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, would bring own source of caffeine if you’re picky with your coffee though. Stephen, the host was very responsive and easy to reach when asked questions. The one thing I would recommend is to check in with the host if the pool is available to use prior to booking. Overall a great experience, would stay with them again.

Went with a bunch of my girlfriends and had such an amazing time! Lisa's home was amazing and we all felt right at home! So happy that it was a common ground where my girlfriends and I were able to gather around and create unforgettable memories.

Dewey’s place is such a dream! Everything is freshly renovated and just feels so crisp, clean, and stylish. You can tell so much love went into the design it’s the perfect mix of modern and cozy. We felt right at home the second we walked in. The kitchen is gorgeous, the bathrooms are spa-like, and every little detail was just so well thought out. Dewey was the sweetest host super responsive and made everything totally seamless. The location is amazing too quiet and peaceful, but still close to all the fun spots (beach, town, restaurants). We didn’t want to leave! Already planning our next trip back. If you’re thinking about booking, do it you’ll love it just as much as we did!

We had a lovely stay at Eric's home. The home exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting. Everything you could possibly need was in the stunning, modern kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and we slept very well. The property was very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys and hawks each day. The fixtures in the home were modern, clean and high-end. It was great being so close to Greenport with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return.

My daughters and I loved Corrie's house. We celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday, and although the weather didn't meet our expectations (cool and rainy considering it was late May/early June), we had a great time exploring the neighborhood, the fun vibes of the town of Westerly, and dining at wonderful local restaurants, especially the one at the Shelter Harbor Inn, which is in walking distance. The house is equipped with everything one could wish for on a vacation, great kitchen, amenities, comfortable beds and a cosy great room. In short, we highly recommend Corrie's place.

I had a fantastic time in this beautiful space, along with my bridal party of 10! From the location, to the aesthetic, to the background grounds - I felt at peace and satisfied, as it was cozy and clean. The host was very responsive/helpful and flexible.

This was our second time staying in this cozy Mystic Airbnb. It has historic charm inside and a lovely waterfront view outside. The home is well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. We went to the Mystic Aquarium to see the beluga whales, we strolled the downtown Mystic streets and learned about coastal New England at the Mystic Seaport Museum. We went on a day trip to Gillette Castle and the town of Essex. We hope to return to Connecticut in the future.

Ashley’s location was amazing and the entire layout was efficient. The automated blinds and Sonos wireless surround system were amazing highlights of the property. The hot tub worked flawlessly and the amenities were well stocked. Ashley’s house is well stocked to host a private dinner party for guests with the large prep sink and counter areas. The newly renovated kitchen cabinets all had slow closure mechanisms and the dual oven microwave was a nice touch. The dual shower head in the downstairs bathroom was a useful amenity as well.

Outstanding - We have been staying in Mystic For the first weekend in May for Years and this location and host and home was the best by far thank You!!!

This place is sparkling clean and has everything you’d need. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was very well-equipped, and the living space was quite cozy. Lovely outdoor seating areas. And that hot tub! Strong jets, so relaxing! The house is so convenient to visit mystic seaport attractions, and there’s a sweet little bakery with an awesome hot beverage selection just around the corner (nana’s), an easy walk. Nice to get up and grab a country loaf or rosemary foccacia. There’s also a seafood and ice cream shack right there, plus a nice little market a very easy walk in the other direction. You may notice on the map that there’s a train track close by, but I never heard a train at night. Very quiet street. Plus they’ve thoughtfully provided white noise machines in the bedrooms. There are just so many thoughtful touches. Very comfortable and convenient

Lovely setting in the woods. We loved the layout, including many windows with beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood that is very walkable. Seeing baby deer in the spring was an unexpected bonus. Spacious bedrooms with extremely comfy beds. Host responded quickly when we had an issue. The private beach is a fantastic feature and easy to access. Check in and check out were super easy.
