Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mission Bay, San Diego

Our family enjoyed our stay in this adorable home. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay and was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and centrally located. Lindsay was super responsive and the home had great bonus areas such as the rooftop. Thank you!!

I have loved San Diego for a very long time, but it was my first time to stay so close to the beach. The location is just lovely for being in the middle of SD for being fairly equal distance to La Jolla or Coronado or downtown—-but also such an easy walk to the beach for when you want to stay closer to your home base. I really can’t say enough good things about the decor, the comfort, the friendly hosting, etc etc etc. We are already plotting a return to Corrine’s spot because it was the perfect space for our mom & daughter getaway. If I could come back next week, then I would. San Diego is so wonderful to experience as a local, and this was the perfect spot for that.

We loved staying here! It is very close to Mission Bay, Mission Beach, and Mission Point. We were able to easily walk anywhere we wanted to go. Very comfy cozy house, great selection of pots and pans. The bed is extremely comfortable! The garage space easily fit our Honda Pilot with room to exit on both sides. We would definitely stay here again!

My stay here was exactly how I wanted it to be. The home was very clean and had a lot of necessities like cookware, silverware, shower products, and so much more! Everything was super neat and organized. The bed was extremely comfy. The host was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed, also made sure all our questions were answered. I am looking forward to staying here again when I return to San Diego. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about staying here. You definitely get your moneys worth.

We have stayed in a lot of home rentals over the years and feel this is the best we have stayed in. Arturo was responsive and easy to contact, helping us change guest size with no issues. The house was great, it was like walking into my own home with everything I could think of needing along with being clean and well maintained. It is close enough to everything in San Diego and has plenty of things to do in the neighborhood. Felt safe and comfortable and all the neighbors were friendly. We have family in the city and all agreed we would stay here again the next visit and will recommend to everyone coming to town.

We enjoyed the location- it was walking distance to the bay, a brewery, and a bar. A short drive / bike ride to tons of places to eat. Yard games and bikes were available, a nice bbq, spa was easy to operate

Overall, the it was great! The location is fantastic, especially if you have little ones it’s close to the lagoon side which felt safer for our active toddler

We had an amazing time staying here. My kids loved how close the beaches were. Especially walking distance. Belmont Park was less than a 2 minute drive. Lots of fun things to do there, shop and eat. All the amenities were there, as listed. I love that there was stuff to use for the beach, like chairs, cooler and etc. Made it very convenient for us to use. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Jasmines place is a gem! In a very peaceful area, beautiful view to walk out to every morning. The outside deck was a huge plus, very cozy. She not only gave us good food recommendations but was very flexible with our check out time. Would recommend to anyone!

The location was perfect and easy to get around. Having a dedicated parking space makes the place all the better. The mattress was nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and so close to the boardwalk and the bay. We had a great stay and would recommend it to others.

We had a great stay at this luxury studio in San Diego! This was our second time staying here. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean any time of day. Parking is conveniently located right outside the unit, and the space itself was very clean, private, and comfortable. It felt like a cozy little retreat. The only downside was that the AC wasn’t working during our stay. We were able to cool the room at night by opening the window, which helped a lot, but during the day it did get a bit warm. We didn’t want to keep the door open all day for privacy reasons. That said, everything else about the stay was excellent, and we’d definitely consider coming back—especially once the AC is fixed.

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Great location and Kara was very responsive very responsive to a situation on the property. If you’re not good with a lot of street noise, this might not be the place for you as it sits on a very busy street. Everything was clean and just asked pictures shown.

This IS the place to stay on Mission Beach. We have rented quite a few places there over the years and this one was THE BEST! Perfect location, beautiful interior, clean, modern, convenient. We will definitely be back and will recommend to other Zonies!

The was a great spot for our family. The condo was big enough for what we needed and steps from the beach, bay and great restaurants. Easy to get everything. Ashwini made it very easy and had wonderful recommendations. We would stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing. Every detail and decoration was perfect, the views were surreal, located ideally in the middle of pacific beach. Able to walk to coffee every morning and enjoy ocean views from the comfort the living room. Host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Really couldn’t ask for anything more from an AirBnB!

My family and I loved this property, the location was looking out at the bay which made for a perfect view. The condo also was perfectly located near the boardwalk, cafes, and restaurants so we rarely had to drive anywhere. At night we enjoyed watching the fireworks from seaworld out on the porch, the evenings were quiet which was also nice since my parents are seniors. Tooraj was very communicative about property and to contact him if anything was needed but everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful family vacation I would absolutely stay here again.
