Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Missoula County

I loved staying here! A few friends and I spent the weekend here for a bachelorette party and it was relaxing and comfortable for the five of us. It was also close enough to town to do everything we wanted to do! Jana was a great host and we are already talking about coming back.

Shari's place was SOOO comfortable. Beds were great, super clean, thoughtful touches everywhere. Shari clearly puts a lot of attention into what it takes for guests to feel right at home. Super private, including the hot tub and fire pit. And Shari is so friendly and also made sure we 100% had our own space. A perfect balance in a host and a perfect stay - thank you, Shari!

Very roomy, as described. Country location with no near neighbors, but easy drive into Missoula. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Beds were very comfortable, according to my son the upstairs futon was not comfortable but it worked for the youngest child. The downstairs sofa bed was pretty big and comfortable. This home had everything we needed over an extremely busy weekend with three teenagers and a preteen.

This place was so neat and unique! The host was very friendly, responsive, and flexible. Everything was newly updated/renovated, very cozy and clean, felt like an HGTV house inside! We loved the no-shoes rule (especially with a baby crawling around). This home had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was the location, although close to everything in town. It did not seem like a good area.. multiple cars bumping loud music lingering nearby and several cops called over a domestic dispute right outside our window. This does not reflect the host or their home, and I know these things happen, but just unpleasant if you have young kids with you.

My husband and I have stayed in many guest rentals over the years visiting family or taking trips with our dogs. I think this one may have been our favorite. The house was so cute and clean, plus fully stocked with everything we needed. Many rentals will understandably just include the bare minimum of supplies for guests, but here we had more than enough toiletries, kitchen items, dog supplies, bedding, cleaning products, and too many more perks to list. The yard was nicely taken care of, fully fenced and perfect for a dog including a dog door. We hosted multiple dinners for our local family including grilling outside and everyone loved the place. My husband had to work some of the days and the extra bedroom/office area with desk was ideal for him. Ali was also very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Plus the cleaning requirements at check out were not unreasonable. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay!

So cozy a place to stay in a great neighborhood. Very relaxing. 10/10 will book again.

I spent almost 3 weeks at the Little House on Sherwood while in Missoula to visit family. The house was pristine when I arrived and it looked exactly like the pictures that were in the online description. The house is simply but adequately furnished. It was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and with bathroom linens. I loved the rooms and ambience of the Airstream trailer. The host responded quickly with the few questions that arose. I would highly recommend The Little House on Sherwood to anyone visiting Missoula.

Was a quick overnight stay and the trains were quiet and not a bother at all. I liked how the location was tucked away yet still close to everything. And I really loved the Keyless entry. I’d say the only critique for me was the main bed, it was extra firm which I’m not used to. Overall would stay again, Megan was a great host!

Dylan's place was very welcoming and cozy and the location was very central to the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved staying at Jennifer's place. It was clean, comfortable, warm, with hot shower! She was so thoughful about stocking the studio with extra little things, such as the toothbrush. I forgot mine and she had an extra one for me in the place! My trip to Missoula was for a stressful reason and being at this home was like a rejuvinating reprieve. And when I was running late at the end she let me check out an hour late without charging me. Very nice. I really loved being there and would absolutely stay again. Mahalos!

I felt right at home staying at Laura’s place. It was very warm and welcoming! Laura was very responsive and communicated well! She was flexible and accommodating with requesting early check in. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved our stay in Jennifer’s guest home! It was so cute, very comfortable, clean, safe, and in walking distance of everything we wanted to do in town. It was so sweet meeting the doggo, Key, while feeling completely respected in the privacy of the space and table outside to enjoy the backyard. We loved it! Thank you, so much Jennifer!

Excellent location near many of the places we wanted to see during our stay. We walked downtown and back and enjoyed the clean and sizable Air B&B in the evenings.

You can pull right up and unload. When you enter the unit looks just like the photos with a few extras like chocolates and Kleenex (few places provide this). Perfect space with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Quiet area which made you feel safe opening the windows and letting the cool Montana air flow through. Very clean and the unit provided all that we needed as far as bathroom and kitchen needs. Easy to get into and easy to relax in. Would absolutely book again. Host was proactive providing instructions so there was no stress about getting into the unit.

Loved Harmony’s Airbnb! It was a 5 star experience. Harmony was a perfect Host. Thank you for the welcome goodies! I highly recommend Harmony’s cozy, spotless, peaceful Airbnb!

A little gem in the mountains!

Newtons Place was great! Comfy beds with good linens, nice bath towels, the kitchen well stocked and the location on the Clark Fork was wonderful if you like watching the birds ! It’s close enough to downtown to make it easy getting to the restaurants and bars.

Awesome little studio! Easy to find, very clean, and walkable to most everything Missoula has to offer. It's a corner unit on the top floor of the Wilma so the views were spectacular. Tons of natural light. Both beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home. The unit is on the small side, but if you're coming to Missoula, you're not spending a ton of time in your room anyway. We loved this rental and hope to stay here again.

Tyler’s place is wonderful. Everything in the photos and description was accurate. His place was comfortable and spacious for 4 people

The host was kind and responsive! Left us local drinks to try and made a short stay sweet!

Great location off of the hip strip, a large and cool basement with decent amenities. Shampoo but not conditioner offered!

Absolutely love staying at the Wilma! Amazing downtown location and a super cute studio. Love the river view! And, Corey is a great host
