Waterfront holiday rentals in Mondello Beach

Francesca and Giulio were fantastic hosts with great communication. Anything I needed they were there with prompt answer and also had great suggestions for the area. They even offered to book our transfers to the airport for us at the end of our stay which was a big help for us!! The apartment was exactly as pictured, very spacious and comfortable and very clean. The location was very walkable for sightseeing, hop on hop off buses and sooo many restaurants and great spots within walking distance. I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Palermo.

Loris was super accommodating and the apartment was lovely and really well situated in a nice area. It was a short walk from the Marina and there were multiple restaurants near by and a shop called Famila with everything you could need. Loris frequently checked up on us via messages to check how we were getting on. Checking in was nice and flexible and he gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us all the important things.

Die Zeit bei Stefania war wunderbar. In Mondello hat uns alles erwartet, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Das Wetter war toll und wir konnten baden, sehr gut essen und auch wandern und Sightseeing war möglich. Palermo ist mit dem Bus unkompliziert und sehr regelmäßig zu erreichen. Nach gut drei Stunden Fahrt waren wir am Etna. Eine rundum gelungene Woche.

Patrizia è una persona e un'host super! Cortese e attenta a ogni esigenza dei suoi ospiti con indicazioni e suggerimenti tempestivi e puntuali. L'appartamento è comodo, dotato di ogni comfort ed è posizionato strategicamente: colazione, panificio, mercato, il mare e tanto altro a pochi passi. Ulteriore elemento chiave è la vicinanza con la stazione dei treni che vi permetterà di raggiungere Palermo e le sue bellezze con agio. Assolutamente raccomandato! (Se arrivate in auto, attenzione alle indicazioni del navigatore: non sono sempre aggiornate, potrebbero non corrispondere alla viabilità!)

Eine super schöne Unterkunft, genau wie beschrieben. Erika hat uns super freundlich empfangen und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Die Grundausstattung wie Wasser, Milch und Pasta war toll, man hat sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Super sauber, viel Platz und einfach ein Ort zum Abschalten. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, der in der Gegend von Palermo wohnen aber noch die Ruhe und die Nähe zum Meer genießen möchte. Danke Erika für deine tolle Gastfreundschaft.

Both Frederica and her father was warm and welcoming. Responsive and willing to help with anything in question. The place itself felt unreal, being so close to the beach and Caletta Santa Elia. Would definitely cone back!

Fantastic stay! The apartment is everything that it is announced and more. You will be surprised by the attention on the details (cudos on the amenities). The location is very special and the view is absolutely beautiful. The beach is quite busy on weekends but much calmer on the weekdays. We had a perfect stay. Giuseppe made everything even more special, the most thoughtful and caring host I've seen. Ricorderemo sempre questo viaggio con grande affetto. Grazie!

Min kæreste og jeg havde en super ferie i denne bolig! Hyggeligt sted og den lille terrasse var skøn og med smuk udsigt over bjerg og hav. Der var lidt høj musik ved poolen om dagen, hvilken var lidt forstyrrende, men stranden er tæt på og var dejligt som afveksling. Ernesto er super sød og hjælpsom og hentede og bragte os til og fra lufthavnen. Derudover kom han med anbefalinger til gode oplevelser i Palermo centrum - det er nemt at komme derind med bus fra Mondello og det nød vi særligt om aftenen, når vejret var “køligt nok” til at opleve ting;-) Vi var overordnede meget tilfredse! Kan klart anbefales 🤗

We just loved this place! Valeria and her father Aldo were delightful hosts, always at the ready to help with whatever we needed. The apartment is the entire second floor (American) of a large, elegant house facing the public part of the beach at Mondello--which meant that we simply walked out the door and into the ocean, bringing only our keys and towels. The cheerful sounds of the beach float up to the balcony, where we spent many hours watching the world go by. Yet it was peaceful and quiet at night because the street between the house and beach is entirely closed to car traffic June 3 to September 30. Tons of restaurants nearby, and a 20-25 minute drive to the centers of Palermo and to Monreale. After exploring each day we came home to evening swims. Note: this is a home with personality where a family was raised, not a sterile condo. We loved its homey vibe, lived-in quality, and generous space. Beds, AC, showers, kitchen were all clean and functioned well. Hope to be back soon!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und in das schöne Appartement geführt! Alles war blitzsauber und der Anblick vom Balkon ist ganz wunderbar. Zu jeder Tageszeit! Toll war, dass die Utensilien für den Strand auch zur Verfügung standen! Für uns als Rucksackreisende war das natürlich toll! Ich habe mich schwer getan wieder abzureisen! Nochmals vielen Dank!

Loredana was a friendly and welcoming host. Her apartment was as described with a nice terrace overlooking a garden and view of neighbouring hills. The AC is in a family room but was enough to refresh the entire apartment. Parking was on the street, but easy to find. 5 minute walk to the beach, 3 minutes walk to friendly market. Host was responsive, proactive, and provided useful instructions. Very accessible running paths near the beach.

Séjour parfait, pour passer des vacances en couple ou en famille l’appartement est idéal. Spacieux, propre avec une jolie vue sur les montagnes le matin au moment de prendre son café ou thé en fonction des gouts de chacun. :) À proximité de la plage. Facilement accessible à pied. C’est le risque lorsque l’on vient pour la première fois à Mondello, surtout lorsque l’on est à pied. L’appartement est suffisamment reculé pour la tranquillité et suffisamment proche pour se rendre à la plus belle plage de palerme. Le bus est tout proche pour vous rendre dans palerme. La communication avec Alessandro était excellente. Sans mauvaises surprises et il est a l’écoute des besoins des locataires. ( taxi pour l’aéroport ou toutes autres informations ) Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er ist sehr fürsorglich und hat uns super bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumhaften Lage, auf jeder Ebene mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Highlight ist der Private Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze sind im Grundstück vorhanden. Wir hatten einen VW Bus, ein Motorrad und ein kleines Mietauto dabei. (und Mountainbikes) Die nähe zum Flughafen war für uns sehr praktisch, weil wir mit der ganzen Familie dort waren und unsere Kinder zu verschiedenen Zeiten angereist sind. Ein eigenes Auto ist notwendig um Mobil zu sein. Für uns war es perfekt weil wir ca. 50 min ins Kletterparadies San Vito del Capo benötigten und auch mal nach Palermo fahren konnten. Die Entfernung zu den schönsten Orten in West Sizilien sind mit <1Std. zu erreichen. das Wohngebiet ist sehr Ruhig und gepflegt und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Danke an Roberto

Wir waren zu viert in dieser Unterkunft und sind äußerst zufrieden. Die Gegend war sicher und schön ruhig. Wir konnten in 5 min den Strand von Mondello erreichen. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr sauber.

One of the best Airbnb I have ever been , and definitely my favourite so far in Sicily! Daniela’ apartment has an impeccable taste in term of interior design, every angle of the place are warm and cozy. Beautiful terrace with view over blue colour of sea , was a pleasure for every morning breakfast. The location is perfect for best fish local restaurant in Palermo area. Beach and natural reserve is at walk distance. If you want to visit Palermo area, don’t miss his to book this place for your stay 5/5 stars

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, siamo stati accolti da Martina che ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie ed è rimasta disponibile. L'appartamento, spazioso e luminoso, è completamente ristrutturato e attrezzato in stile moderno-funzionale è fornito di tutte le suppellettili ed ascigamani necessari ed è molto accogliente per quattro persone. E' inoltre dotato di due ampi balconi uno a est con vista sul parco archeologico e sul nuovo molo trapezoidale, attrazione con i suoi locali, e l'altro a ovest con vista sul centro città, che sono un plus notevole. Il centro è facilemente raggiungibile a piedi, qualche difficoltà nel parcheggiare l'auto. In conclusione un soggiorno molto positivo in una struttura moderna e molto curata.

Super quick to accept reservation got us out of a sticky issue with another accommodation and allowed us to check in straight away with clear and fast instructions at 6pm. Apartment was as expected and described in the pictures. Good aircon and nice area. Some of the areas of Palmero can be sketchy and super hard to get parked however parking here was relatively easy to find and felt safe enough.

We wanted to explore the historic city of Palermo so chose this AirBnB because the location was perfect to visit so many places. It also looked stylish and comfortable with lovely outside views. We were not disappointed - and would return there to explore more of Palermo that we could not see this time.....not enough holiday!

My husband and I spent four nights at Daniele’s place and just simply wish we could stay there longer. The apartment was very nice; spacious, fresh and very clean, with the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the view of the harbor. Parking spot, right by the apartment, was priceless. Daniele and Claudia were amazing hosts; kind, friendly, always super responsive. We would love to stay in their place again!

what a stunning place. the apartment was exactly as pictured and in such a beautiful place. the view in a morning with coffee is just what I needed. massimo and luisa were perfect hosts and I can honestly say two of the most genuine lovely people. gave lots of lovely reccomendations and advice for getting around. I cannot wait to go back!

The hosts were so thoughtful and responsive! this location is in a great artsy neighborhood near the coast with great restaurant options. very walkable to the historic city center and the train station for bus trips. highly recommend!

The house offers a stunning view over the sea and is located in a lively area with plenty going on — perfect for those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the thoughtful suggestions for day trips provided by the host, which helped us discover the region in a relaxed way. The village itself is charming, with plenty of nice restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Opposite the house is a large square where locals gather every afternoon and evening. Children can play on the playground equipment, and there are also some outdoor fitness machines. That said, if you’re looking for total peace and quiet, this may not be the ideal spot — but if you enjoy energy, activity, and sea views, this is the place to be!

What a fabulous place , just like the photos but even better . Francesco arranged an early check in for us and was available at all times . Not only was the apartment super clean but the communal areas were too and very well maintained. We loved our short stay and hope to return
