There is no direct lake view (trees in front), but the wonderful viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' can be reached in two minutes (100 m), where you can watch the stars undisturbed at night.

Hikers and cyclists are only 300m from the Venn, Ravel and Velo cycle paths. In the nearby area is the Eifelsteig, Rursee, Monschau Altstadt and Vogelsang Castle.
