Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. From there, walk to the Deutsches Eck, cable car and fortress. The fortress offers a lot - like a breathtaking view of Koblenz and more.
