Steps to the beautiful beach and around the corner to Pierpont village area. The home was comfortable, though perhaps a little dated. For 2 people, it was plenty of space. We spent most of our time out enjoying the area, and the location is perfect for that! Covered parking was a plus!

We had the most incredible stay! The property is stunning. Amenities in the unit are well beyond expectations and the hosts are gracious and thoughtful. They left a generous welcome basket with note and had everything we needed in the gorgeously appointed room. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was beautiful. Everything felt brand new and we wished we could have stayed for much longer. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, close to the beach and right next to a boardwalk salt marsh! It was a tight fit in the master bedroom with 2 suitcases, but everything was clean, comfortable, and even better than described. I hadn't realized the whole apartment complex is owned by them and are all Airbnbs, but that meant we didn't feel awkward about using the outside couches! They have a great courtyard with couches, a cool fire pit area at the front, and keep the outside looking nice. I especially appreciated the fact that my son accidentally left his airbuds at the apartment after we checked out and Elena called me to let me know they had been found. She has now mailed them to us, which feels like really good customer service!! I would definitely recommend staying at the Tropical Shores apartment complex!

During my search for a place to celebrate my birthday weekend with my friends, Julia's place was the only host who happily provided us with military discount! To me that was such a grand gesture which I sincerely appreciated as other hosts were condescending when inquired. This place was definitely as advertised and well maintained. We walked to the beach and to the surrounding restaurants/stores. My birthday weekend was well celebrated with such a relaxing environment to return to every night. Thanks so much Julia!

The Sandyland Studio in Carpinteria CA was absolutely wonderful. The location is barely a two min walk to the beach and all the fun restaurants and shops are in walking distance. The place felt fresh, cozy and had multiple amenities. Our family of four (two elementary aged children) also slept comfortably on the queen bed and the full/queen sized pull out couch. Highly recommend this spot and we will book this place again in the future.

Jose was very easy to communicate with. The apartment was perfect for our quick trip.

This place was a great stay! Very close to State street, funk zone and the beach. We stayed with our kids and we were able to walk everywhere, definitely great location. The house was super clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. We used the pack n play for our baby.

Comfortable stay for our first time in Santa Barbara! Located within minutes of the beach and a quick drive to downtown. Highly recommend!

Angela’s place was superb. Super comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location, a short walk to the beach. Angela was friendly, efficient and very helpful. I highly recommend her place and will hopefully stay there again.

This place is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara. Beautiful neighborhood, home has great outdoor and indoor space. I felt right at home. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would choose to stay here next time over other places.

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities. We're already talking about going back next year. THANK YOU, MARY, for your hospitality and the opportunity for us to have a wonderful vacation!!

Cute little place with a fantastic location. Gorgeous view of the beach and so close to walk. As other reviews have mentioned, it does get noisy being on a street corner but it wasn’t a problem for us and our kids slept through the night. Tracie was extremely responsive when we struggled with the internet, but we weren’t able to get a solid connection for our baby monitors so if you will need them, we’d recommend bringing a Bluetooth one. Overall we had a wonderful stay and it was perfect for our needs! (And seriously, the view!!)

Great stay! Close to the beach and ocean front walking trails. Amberly was nice enough to provide pack and play and toys for our baby! Easy parking and close to downtown activities.

One of the best and most relaxing vacations we've ever had - Ray and Sheri's place was home away from home. The unit was well stocked in every room - they thought of everything you need to feel at home. And if it wasn't there, they brought it to us! We brought a small dog and they had a little dog bed, bowls and toys waiting for her. With two grocery stores nearby, and the beautiful kitchen, we actually ate most of our meals in the unit. Sheri and Ray were responsive to our questions and requests, and provided helpful suggestions for relaxing things to do while in town. The ocean view from the unit was awesome - and the proximity of the unit to the ocean was only two blocks. The unit was perfect for 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. We will be back again as SB is one of our favorite destinations. Thank you Sheri and Ray!

Had a great time! Geoff and Annika were great hosts. The sauna was so nice after a long hike. The place was clean, peaceful private, and easy to get to. Easy check in and out.

Great spot right next to the beach. We watched the sunset on the beach, took bike rides to the pier and spent countless hours in the jacuzzi. Check in was seamless and the garage was an added bonus. Keep in mind that it's a tight squeeze and an SUV will probably not fit in there. The host was very responsive and took care of an initial issue with the hot tub. It was one of the main reasons we booked it and we were glad he responded quickly.

We had an incredible visit to Santa Barbara staying here! Everything looked just like the pictures and the back patio was gorgeous. We loved the quick walk up to the beach and had no problem with taking the time to walk into downtown. We really appreciated Maddi’s recommendations for food, drinks, and hikes. Very convenient place, highly recommend!

Great location just outside the town; a quick 5-min walk to all the happening areas. The apartment is quite spacious and the property has many amenities. Great home away from home.

Charming unit and a short walk to Linden Ave. A few hundred yards to beach entrance. Host was very responsive. We will come again.

This might be my new favorite vacation spot. Carpinteria is such a wonderful little town! Staying in this condo was a joy. It was just a few yards to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great, and all the other residents were very friendly! The condo had everything we needed and was totally ship shape. Dave was flexible when I needed to amend my booking, too. Highly recommend.

Roman was a great host. He was attentive to messages and ensured our stay was comfortable and well-stocked. The condo was clean, the bed was comfy, and everything was in working order. Renting from the property management on-site was out of my price range, but catching Roman's deal on Airbnb made staying affordable. Thank you, Roman!
