Such a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had a lovely breakfast on the patio followed with enjoying the swings, zip line and hammocks out on the grassy area.

This home is very peaceful. I love that the greenery in the front yard makes it feel very private. I came solo and only used one bedroom. If you came here with a group, the only issue I’d see is the bathroom with the shower is quite small for sharing. I used the kitchen to make dinner - it has everything you need. One of my favorite things about this house is it’s two blocks from Bob‘s Well Bread, an amazing bakery/café. I walked there every morning for coffee.

Annie’s place is PHENOMENAL! Cozy, peaceful, private, and has everything we needed and more. This is the exact place you want to stay if you want the Ventura vibes, and want to be a quick trip from everything Ventura has to offer, but also far away enough to relax at home.

This is a lovely bungalow in a great location. It has high-end furniture, fixtures, appliances, and 5-star amenities, including plush towels, luxurious linens, robes, soaps, lotions, etc. The host has thought of everything and then some to make guests comfortable. The location is within a short walk to the beach and to some of the best shopping and restaurants in Montecito. I sent a message to the host a few times and received an immediate response. Full disclosure ~ the house is next to the railroad tracks and the train does pass by occasionally. The freeway is also adjacent, and you can hear traffic noise.

Our family’s stay in Santa Barbara was made so comfortable by this lovely home! It was so well equipped with all the kitchen and bath necessities, and it was so pleasant to look out toward the mountains while relaxing in the open living space. The location was so convenient and walkable to the beach, to State St., to 101, and to food markets and many dining options. The train made minimal noise on a predictable schedule and we enjoyed watching it come and go! We easily explored Santa Barbara from this easy and pleasant home base. Very cute and quiet place. Couch was comfy and engulfs you when you sit down, loved it! A little confusing when coming in. We arrived at dark, didn’t know which door was the main entrance as there were a few doors to pass before finding the one with the keyless pad on it. That door takes you into a bedroom rather than the main part of the home. I wouldn’t suggest staying here with people you aren’t familiar or comfortable with as the only bathroom is in the middle of the house in a bedroom. So anyone sleeping in the back bedroom or the living room, has to enter the next bedroom to use the bathroom which could disturb the people in that room. Checking out at 10am was rushed when there were 4 girls trying to shower and share 1 bathroom and get packed and out of there to avoid an extra cost. I felt a little stressed that morning. Bring a thicker blanket if you sleep cold. Quits on the bed weren’t warm and my kids and I were cold. Otherwise, cute and clean home, would stay again.

Lovely house in a great location. The house was very comfortable and we had fun with the foosball table. The location was great as we could walk/cycle to the shops and restaurants and the neighborhood was peaceful.

We stayed with our adult kids and wanted a walkable location. This one was perfect! Quiet yet close. Really enjoyed meeting Jeanne and her dogs.... horses, chickens too. (FYI....They are off site and not at the property.) The home is very well provisioned and the beds luxurious and comfy. Open kitchen and lots of seating in the living areas. Thank you Jeanne, we look forward to seeing you again!

David's place was perfect for us! It is so comfortable and we loved watching Directv...what a treat! The kitchen space is fully stocked with lots of clear directions. David was very helpful and accommodating. Even the main house seems close to the guest house, it is still VERY private. Thank you David for a wonderful stay!!

I absolutely loved staying here. I came here with my dog for a short getaway from LA and to check out the Santa Ynez area. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dog, who was in bliss with all the space, new smells and nature sounds. The guest house is so cute, private and opens out to the pool and yard area that is on top of a hill overlooking other vast properties with horses grazing, grapes growing, hawks flying over...It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Everything in the guest house was clean and organized, even pool towels were provided for me and my dog. The bed was very comfortable and I loved leaving the windows open for a breeze and to hear all the birds and other night sounds. The property is a short drive to Santa Ynez and Los Olivos, both very nice to walk around and very dog friendly! Cute restaurants and Alanna recommended a few dog friendly options for me. I loved my stay here, Alanna was a great host, and I hope to be back.

Hilary’s home was wonderful. Great location just minutes away from downtown Solvang. The home was well stocked and the gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the views and coolbreeze on the pool deck. It was super relaxing! We loved the 2 pianos in the home which we enjoyed playing a few tunes on. We did a zip line tour which was only minutes away from the home. Multiple fruit trees and flowers enhanced the manicured property. Our doggy enjoyed the lawn but did pick up ticks on our walk around the neighborhood. We were able to brush them off him. Thankfully he’s on tick and flea prevention. Overall we had a fantastic time and the kids were sad to leave. We could’ve used a few more days! Thank you Hilary for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This property is beautiful and very peaceful. My children came from out of state to celebrate my 60th birthday and it was a great way to spend time with the family. The house is clean and clutter free. The house is very spacious. We enjoyed game time around the table. This was our first trip to Solvang and we will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great weekend. Lots of memories are made.

Wonderful home - had plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, outside lounge areas, and lovely backyard with pool and gardens. It was a fantastic place for our weekend getaway with two other couples. Thank you, Bonnie!! You were a great hostess!

This cottage is so special. If you are looking for a getaway to reset and connect to nature this is for you. It was so nice to be tucked away and close to nature yet close enough for short drive to town/activities. Jennifer was a great host, so accommodating and responsive. We went to a few of her recommendations in the manual and enjoyed them all. You can tell how much love goes into this property. It was a very peaceful, special stay, we would be thrilled to go again.

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The space was not only spotless but beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches—water by the bed, luxe bathroom amenities, cozy candles throughout… it felt like a boutique retreat. The pool was absolutely stunning, and having the horses wander right up to it made for the most magical, relaxing afternoon. The hosts were incredibly kind and even offered to extend our checkout since no one was checking in after us. We came for a couples getaway and had the perfect balance of activity and chill: wine tasting and dinner out the first night, then biking into town for breakfast and soaking up the sun at the pool with wine and lunch the next day. The animals and peaceful farm setting just sealed the deal. 10/10 would recommend—this place is a gem

Brian's place was the perfect spot for our family's celebration of my 65th birthday and my Grandson Sonny's 1st birthday party. My daughter teaches and lives at Dunn School, so Brian's place was within walking distance to her school and downtown Los Olivos. We celebrated my birthday at the area restaurants on Saturday and had Sonny's Party at Brian's place on Sunday. Standouts included a great outdoor grill and spacious outside area for all the guests, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances inside the house, plenty of seating inside and out, outdoor games for kids and adults, an in-ground outdoor fireplace, with s'more ingredients supplied by Brian for the fire. Spa available, maybe we will try it next time:) Brian reached out to us to make sure we had everything we needed and was available to answer any questions. I will definitely be a regular customer!!

Our stay in Santa Barbara was very enjoyable. The location of the Airbnb was excellent because of the proximity to State Street and all that it offers. Although the apartment was quite small, it functioned well. The coffee was absolutely delicious and boxed water much appreciated! The bed was soft and the bedding lovely. The apartment is on a relatively busy street but at night it was extremely quiet. I'm usually sensitive to noises at night but for the two nights we were there, I slept extremely well, as did my husband. The cost of the apartment was steep but it seems like every place in Santa Barbara was expensive. I definitely would recommend the apartment if you want to be near State Street.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. The backyard was really well designed as there were many comfy gathering places which includes hammocks, campfires, and marshmallow pits. The house was overall well equipped and extremely clean.

Martha’s cottage is wonderful and so is the location with close proximity to the upper village of Montecito. The beds are extremely comfortable and it’s private and quiet. The enclosed courtyard surrounded by flowers and great lounging furniture. The courtyard was much bigger than expected, which was a bonus. I thought that Martha was very communicative about instructions and she is thoughtful.

The sweet little townhouse was very nice. So clean, and peaceful, almost a minimalist feel - which I really like. The location was the best, with a beach, parks, ocean and all the little shops and pubs, cafes, - truly all walkable and the safest streets and sidewalks. The beds were like a cloud, sleep was sweet. Well done!

Nice, clean accommodations. I would describe the place more as a guest house than a home as it is attached to the main house to which the owner (Darren) resides. There is also another studio-type accommodation attached to the "house." Both were non-issues as they were quiet and rarely seen from the "house." We travel with our dogs and the backyard was great for them...quiet, large, clean, and private. Easy walk (~10 min) to Butterfly beach from the "house" as well as to town. The bedroom is bright due to the skylights so if you are a late sleeper, it may impact you. The bed was softer than my wife and I prefer. Overall a nice place!

We had the absolute best weekend at Aidan's beautiful home. As Westmont College alumni's it was so magical and fun to be able to be back in the city where we first became young adults. The only complaint is the weekend flew by so quickly! Haha Thank you so much Aidan for your gracious hospitality, 10 out of 10!!

This home was absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed everything and the location on the Mesa was great.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter at UCSB. The house is charming, artsy, and has a relaxed, bohemian feel. We enjoyed cooking and eating in the back garden, and it was very comfortable when we were home. Nancy and Jimbo were warm and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is perfect for walking—right next to the Douglas Preserve—and close to two grocery stores. The space is compact but had everything we needed. A few things weren’t intuitive, like the light switches or the water cooler near the French doors (we thought it was an air filter at first!). It offered hot and filtered water—great for tea, though we found it a little late. The bathroom is a wet room, so the toilet, sink, and shower share a small space. My daughter loved it; it felt a bit tight for me. Overall, a well-cared-for, unique spot that’s great for solo travelers, couples, or anyone visiting a UCSB student.
