A perfect hideaway for a relaxing visit, the 120m2 house is spacious, peaceful and ideally placed for exploring this lovely region.

Guest house

The perfect tranquil destination for family or friends, this charming 17th century traditional stone cottage offers delightful accommodation for up to six people. Hidden away at the end of a quiet country lane in southern Charente, it is situated along the lower southern boundary of Les Chauvins, with its own entrance and private courtyards to front and back. A large pool nestles within the stone walls of a former barn and the grounds offer ample places to play, relax and enjoy the views.

It has its own entrance, kitchen, dining and living room space with original stone Charantais fireplace and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The large windows take advantage of the stunning countryside views and spectacular sunrises. If you are a fan of wildlife you will not be disappointed with regular visitors of deer, red squirrels, migrating cranes and a favourite of ours, the hoopoe.

Enjoy a stylish and central place, close to all shops, bars, restaurants, squares, in the historic center. View towards the Dronne and the castle. 500 meters from the campsite and beach, tennis court, canoeing and kayaking and several hiking trails to the neighboring towns. The house has a dining room, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor and upstairs a balcony with panoramic views, shower room, toilet, a master bedroom and two small bedrooms for three children.

At the "Domaine de Champ rose" (cottage) you can rest in the calm and the countryside of the south-Charente in our large charming cottage (18th century castle). We'll give you a family-friendly welcome and guide you on things to do in the area. To relax, we are equipped with a private, year-round covered and heated swimming pool, large shaded park, game room and library, as well as a bocce court. We accept a maximum of 18 people. No pets.

Independent riverside studio in the heart of the charming village of Mouthiers sur Boëme 15min from the center of Angouleme. The accommodation and access are completely self-contained, private terrace and common garden. Canoeing available (free, upon request). The studio has a large 160 cm bed, a kitchen and dining area (hob, Airfryer, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave and toaster) and a large connected TV Linens and towels are provided.

And if the weather permits, you can even meet our furry friends, the donkeys! 🫏
