The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

In Montsoreau, one of the "most beautiful villages" of France, amazing views, and small shops within walking distance; located between Saumur and Chinon! Famous castles, abbeyes, exceptional gardens, white, red and bubbly wineries, most of them within 10 to 60 min. The house is perfect for one or two couples, but can welcome 6 guests. Market every week, small grocery store, butcher, bakery, 4 restaurants in the village. Great antique market once a moth on the banks of the Loire.

Building of character, classified 3 stars, 20 minutes from the castles of Chinon, Saumur and Langeais, the abbey of Fontevraud, close to amenities. This cottage of 130 m2, comfortable , offers 4 large bedrooms (double or single beds), 3 bathrooms, a large living room, with American billiards, table football, a terrace and a private enclosed garden of 300m2, not suitable for noise pollution and parties.
