It was a really cozy place, enjoyed my stay a lot. There’s a bus stop right outside the bnb so it’s easy to get to the city centre and back. Ted was an amazing host and very responsive, helping me settle in really quick. 10/10 would stay here again.

We both felt very comfortable from the moment we entered the apartment and made it our home for the week. It's a large, classic style apartment, in keeping with historic Edinburgh, with many original features. A quiet area, and a short walk to buses into town and a Tesco just round the corner. 35/40 mins walk to the Old Town itself. Excellent heating and hot water and every amenity. Would have no hesitation is staying here again.

Initially chosen as across road from daughter’s place, Craig’s flat proved to be beautiful, flexible, high-functioning (EVERYTHING WORKED VERY WELL) and very comfortable. The layout of the flat was lovely. Above all, Craig communicated extremely well and prepared the place for us - mill in the fridge, flowers and fruit on the kitchen table, a lot of supplies in the larder, very thoughtful and welcoming. Craig is clearly a Superhost. A supermarket across the road, a great baker and other excellent local shops so very easy to self-cater. Several excellent restaurants and coffee shops within 100 yards. A lovely walk across The Meadows into the Old Town and plenty of buses into town if preferred. We’ll be back. Thank you, Craig, for a great stay and for all your care and attention to detail.

This special place surpassed all our expectations. The attention to detail and care in every aspect, from the little jars of shortbread to the amazing roof beams, is simply incredible. Everywhere you look, there's something interesting, clever, or beautiful. The location is perfect for a city break; it's an easy walk from the train station, with many attractions on your doorstep. You can even see Holyrood Park and its dramatic crags from the apartment. Once inside, you're completely cocooned from the world. We found ourselves structuring our days to maximize our time there. It truly elevated our stay, making it an unforgettable experience.

The flat of Alix is truly a little gem! We had a lovely stay in this beautiful and cozy place. We really enjoyed that Alix was there to welcome us and give us the keys. It’s also possible to reach the city center by foot, which is very convenient. We definitely recommend this flat!

I had absolutely amazing time in this cozy place. It is all new, super clean, peaceful, quiet place. You can walk to the garden and get to the city in 15-20 min. Hannah did everything to make my stay comfortable ☺️

This place is fabulous. It was a bit hard to find the exact apartment, lol. But once you find it you feel like you are home. The view of the castle from bed is just as pictures show. Wish the windows had screens so flies didn’t come in. It was warm and I needed the breeze all the windows provided. Elizabeth was very responsive to any and all questions. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a wedding with our son and my parents. The house was even nicer than the photos and in a great location to walk into the city. The children's toys were a lovely touch and our 1 year old loved playing with them. Zoe was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Gorgeous, spacious and comfortable flat. We stayed with our two-year-old, and had no trouble with him sleeping in the little walk-in space. The kitchen was especially nice for dining; also was a great shower and excellent bed/pillows! Coffee at Little Fitzroy was splendid and we walked to almost everywhere but had peace & quiet at night.

We came up to Edinburgh for a couple of team days, it was great. A much nicer place to stay than a Z or hub and more reasonable prices! Momo was welcoming and the flat was perfectly appointed and an easy 10 minute stroll to Princes Street. I could definitely imagine staying again or coming back for a fun weekend with friends. A great spot for anyone wanting to experience Edinburgh without being in the city center. Located in a more residential area near the university, we loved getting a less tourist-forward, more local experience that’s still walking distance to all the great sites. It’s also a short walk from Arthur’s Seat, so it felt like the perfect balance of city and nature.

We had a great stay at Steven’s place. The apartment is very well located, bright, comfortable and looks exactly as the pictures. Steven is an amazing host and we would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Close to eateries, mart and cafe so it was very convenient. The park is within walking distance. Close communication with clear instructions were provided by host.

The house is gorgeous and handy. It’s cozy and warm in Edinburgh’s cold weather.

Great location. Clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Only short walk to grass market area, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

A beautiful and spacious apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Very impressive views. It was very easy to get a bus into the centre of Edinburgh. We really appreciated and highly recommend the jacuzzi bath after running the Edinburgh Marathon!! Bulhar was great with communication. Also some extra touches were really appreciated - shampoos,conditioner and shower gel and other toiletries available to use in the bathroom. Also some soft drinks and teas and coffees available as well, which was very generous. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our vacation in Scotland. The location was perfect for walking to all the best spots in Edinburgh. Michelle was the person I communicated with upon arrival, she was extremely helpful and very prompt in returning my texts. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Jamie made sure we were welcomed into the house and gave us hints and tips for the local area. There was a problem with the heating when we arrived (start of the season niggles) but he had a sparky and plumber on site immediately. The house is a great location and Elie is so chilled with great places to eat and central for day trips to other beautiful villages such as Crail and Anstruther. The main living area works so well with kitchen, dining table and lounge area all together plus enough comfy seating for 8 to 10 people (a major failing in many houses with 4 or 5 beds). We all loved our time there

Fantastic holiday, great location, comfortable bed and amazing bath. The slippers and dressing gown was a really lovely touch. Highly recommend the Bonnie Bide Awa. Only sightly disappointing thing was the Welcome pack, 1/2 bottle of olive oil, 2 sachets of porridge,1/4 tin of hot chocolate and an empty canister.. If we’re ever in Edinburgh again, I will definitely try to book this apartment.

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.
