We took our 17 year old son to LA for the first time. Staying in Brian’s place in Santa Monica was the perfect choice. It was just enough space, adorable little “neighborhood,” quick access to the beach and pier. So nice to come “home” here after a day of exploring. And Brian was an awesome host. He helped with questions about parking, renting a car, and anything else I needed to know. Super friendly! Glad we chose his place!

This apartment was perfect for what we needed - very spacious, centrally located - we wished we could’ve stayed longer! Would definitely recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises!

Very nice place in a really good location. Very close to Venice Beach and also Abbott Kinney shopping area. As a solo female traveler I felt safe walking around by myself and walking myself to the next areas to try out Yoga, spin and pilates in the early morning. The home was very cosy and comfortable and had nice amenities like a water filter jug, kettle, microwave and coffee machine. Do note that this faces a road and with a pedestrian sidewalk so you might hear people talking as they walk by or cars, but not a problem in the evening as it gets very quiet. I had no problems sleeping at night. Walls are slightly thin so if there are guests upstairs you might hear them move about and talking.

Had a great stay here! Looks just like the pictures, and was squeaky clean. Lots of thoughtful touches--Brita filter full of cold water in the fridge, extra towels, yoga mat and blocks in the closet, and a ton of paid streaming services on the TV. Didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed well stocked. And the location is unparalleled, you can see the Pier out the window and 3rd Street Promenade is blocks away. Heads Up: Most of the furniture is low profile though--lower to the ground--which could be an issue for older people or people with knee problems. But both the bed and couch were super comfortable. And the host was easy to reach and responsive, usually within the hour. Jonathan's place is an excellent alternative to the hotels on Ocean Avenue.

The views are wonderful and walking around the marina is pretty. The condo is spotless. Claudia was extremely responsive throughout the rental. I see why she is Superhost. It was winter so we didn’t use the pool, but the pool area and close-by patio area with hot tub are nice. Whole Foods in Venice is great and close by, as is Costco, so we had many meals at ‘home.’ A few cons: there is no bedroom. It is a studio. No fluffy white towels in bathroom as shown. Can’t use the small balcony. Finally - not a reflection on the host at all, but the building has shared water and morning showers were not always hot. Evening showers were fine. A nice place if you want a home base away from downtown in a pretty area.

I really enjoyed my stay, almost felt like my actual home. Monet was an awesome host! she was very communicative and responded to all of my questions quickly. the place overall was nice, clean & cozy. think my only complaint was that she said smoking was allowed on the balcony, even had an astray out there for convenience however, there was a neighbor above who does not like smoke and yells to stop smoking. So just be prepared to deal with that or do the long walk outside each time you want a cigarette. other than that, awesome spot, convenient location, great experience would book again!

This space is perfect and in a beautiful building north of Wilshire, in a peaceful pocket of Santa Monica. Having frequented the heart of downtown SM many times, this location is my new favorite — walkable, safe, and friendly. The building is historic and stunning, with a lovely courtyard, lobby, and library with seating areas. Check-in was a breeze, and there are late-night managers on duty/security which made me feel safe as a solo traveler, especially when getting home after an evening out. Towels are plush and clean, bed was very comfortable, and the ceiling fans do a great job so I didn’t miss the fact that there’s no AC! It’s worth noting that the windows of this space face a row of other units and a walkway with a good deal of foot traffic, meaning shades need to be kept closed for any privacy since it is ground floor. If you’re like me and spend your time out enjoying the city, this isn’t an issue! Kitchen was spotless with great appliances. Fantastic stay!

Had a wonderful stay at the condo with our 2 kids and mother in law. There was tons to do being very convenient to restaurants and the beach. It felt very safe and there were beautiful views of the water. Communication was perfect and very responsive. I would definitely stay there again and again.

We had a wonderful stay at Santiago's place! The photos honestly didn’t do the space or the views justice—it was even better in person. The unit was incredibly spacious for a one-bedroom, and parking was a breeze. My favorite times of day were the quiet mornings and peaceful evenings—I could hardly believe how calm it was. I think I saw only one person on our floor the entire stay, which was a big plus. My dog loved lounging on the balcony soaking up the sun, and the neighborhood walks were fantastic. If I return to the Marina del Rey area, I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Santiago!

Snug but ideal for what we needed. The pool and hot tub were loved by adults and children in our group. Great that Joe had fold out crib to use and extra pool/beach towels. Had to move some of the decorative items as we have small children who were very interested in them! Joe is very responsive and we enjoyed our stay. Shop in walking distance and Venice boardwalk and Santa Monica pier very close drive. Thanks for a great stay! ☺️

If you’re visiting the LA area this is the perfect location. Everything is 10-20 minutes within distance. Santa Monica was 35 minutes! My stay was great. It was very clean and I loved the decor. They are also 420 friendly. The only downfall in my opinion is the bed. It was not comfortable for me at all. We had issues with the key fob for the parking gate to open/close but the host responded quickly and brought another and made it right. The area is clean and peaceful. I recommend this stay! You’ll enjoy 😊

Het appartement is precies zoals op de foto’s. Het is schoon en modern, precies zoals op de foto’s. De bedden en kussens waren ook heerlijk. De host reageert snel en regelt ook je verzoeken gelijk. De communicatie was 10/10. Er is een zwembad en gym in het gebouw wat ook erg fijn was. Het nadeel is dat de rolgordijnen niet volledig verduisterend zijn waardoor je in de nacht last kan hebben van het licht van de billboard en de metro rijdt langs het gebouw waardoor je het geluid blijf horen, echter daar kan de host niks aan doen. We vonden het verblijf echt geweldig en we zouden hier zeker terug komen

Clean, tidy and well-maintained apartment with amazing skyline views, exactly as described! Perfect location on a relatively safe street in dt. Keys pickup process was a bit confusing but manageable. Highly recommended!

We felt right at home in Tina’s apartment. It was in a very safe area, was close to everything, and the hot tub was great! The bed was slightly uncomfortable but overall very happy with our stay.

Maria’s home was fantastic. Location was perfect. The apartment was incredibly clean and equipped with everything you could need. The views were amazing! Check in was straightforward, we followed the instructions on the booking. Needed to make a brief call for Maria to verify but she picked up on the first ring. Also had a small issue with parking (not Maria’s fault at all!) and she was very responsive and dealt with it very quickly. All in all, our stay was wonderful. Thank you Maria!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The host is a genuinely kind person—extremely responsive and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The apartment is located in a quiet, safe, and secure area of Marina del Rey, yet it’s still centrally located near shops and restaurants. Inside, it’s impeccably clean and well-appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds are especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Let me know if you’d like any more tweaks!

Just as described. Clean and as pictured. Basic furniture so it lacks a bit of warmth/homey-cozy feel. But it has everything you need. A bit challenging to find the parking because the gate to enter for resident was not working. Once you got used to it, was fine entering from the other gate for guest. It was always open. Pool was heated for a bit of a chilly weather and jacuzzi was nice hot temp. Great gym. Huge apartment with two huge rooms and nice size bath but small basic furniture. Just one couch that’s not as comfortable to lounge in but does its job. Washing machine and dryer are great addition. Nearby grocery store, Ralph’s is a bit sketchy. A few homeless people hanging around also I don’t feel safe walking alone. If you drive just go a bit further for a pleasant experienced. The apartment building itself is safe and secured. Host and team are easy to reach and communicate promptly. Great place to stay in and out and car is advised. Uber in LA is hefty! Safe parking
