In the summer it is cool and the water is cold. - In the cold winter of 10 degrees Celsius, you can stay warm and comfortable from your feet with underfloor heating. Two toilets and the first floor are flat floors, so you can use them safely from children to the elderly. Kurohime Slope is 5 minutes away, and there are many slopes within a 30-minute radius, so you can enjoy a variety of terrain. We offer free rental of a simple BBQ and fire pit. On a rainy day, you can play darts, Jenga, or table tennis indoors, or you can visit the nearby hot springs or sauna. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
