(Kohana = tree ice in the Nagano dialect) Shinanomachi Interchange is about 5 minutes away, and you can enjoy a year-round stay, such as Lake Nojiri, snow park, sauna and activities, etc. In the summer it is cool and the water is cold. - In the cold winter of 10 degrees Celsius, you can stay warm and comfortable from your feet with underfloor heating. There are two toilets and a flat floor on the first floor, so it is safe for families from children to the elderly. Kurohime slopes are 5 minutes away, and there are many slopes within 30 minutes, so you can enjoy various terrain. There is a free fire pit rental for BBQs. It's like a forest hideaway where you can fully enjoy the luxurious four seasons. The interior is very open with a large LDK and 3 bedrooms. In addition, the bathroom has a large bathtub and large windows, so you can enjoy the four seasons of the forest while relaxing. In summer, it is quiet because it is located in the woods, and the interior is very cool. You can hear birds chirping, cicadas singing, and the sound of the wind from all the rooms. Please open the window and take a deep breath. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
