There are only countryside mountains and a beautiful river, but please enjoy your stay at Miyama House, which is a private rental.

Miyama House is a guest house made by renovating an old wooden house that was no longer in use. The entire house is rented out, so families and groups of friends can use it as if it were their own home. Meals are not provided, but you can enjoy cooking in the open kitchen where everyone can gather. The exterior of the building looks old, but the interior is stylish when you open the front door. The interior is finished with natural materials such as wood and plaster, and the insulation is perfect, making it a safe and comfortable space. The reason why we made it so carefully is that we are carpenters who specialize in wooden architecture. We've created an ideal space with a sense of fun, and we'd love for you to experience it. We want you to have a relaxing time, so check-in is from 10 am and check-out is by 3 pm. You can stay up to 29 hours. You can also use it with your pets. However, due to space constraints, please limit your pet to a medium-sized dog, and use a cage during your stay. Please refrain from letting your pets run loose in the room or leaving them alone in the room.

NISHIMURA-TEI Hanare - Kitchen & Dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

You can use the entire entire Japanese-style bungalow surrounded by trees. It is perfect for families of up to 4 to 5 people to spend without hesitation! Children from 4 to 12 years old will be charged the child rate. Owners roast coffee beans in an adjacent roasting shop.Enjoy a little rich breakfast with delicious coffee. You can use one Japanese-style flat house of Okumino surrounded by trees, one building. It fits to be the family up to 4~5 people,feel easy and spend. 4~12year-old child will be the price by a child fare. An owner roasts coffee beans at a next roast atelier. Please enjoy slightly rich breakfast as well as good coffee slowly.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

Tabitabi 「Taishi」

「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya]. It is designed with a lot of hand-dyed Japanese style Tang paper, wallpapers made of tin and gold foils, and other traditional Japanese crafts and elements. We also retain the original properties of the machiya. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also you can feel the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.

Yado Hakuguri 板倉の宿 白栗 -Tiny guest house-

This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Itakura no Yado Shirakuri is a small old traditional house inn started by an owner who loves traditional houses. Itakura was relocated from the foot of Mt. Norikura and opened in June 2016. I hope that you will be able to feel the atmosphere of Itakura which is not found in everyday life. We would be pleased if you do.
