Cabin holiday rentals in Nantahala Lake

This is our second visit with family, friends and our pets to this cabin. Gorgeous scenery from every angle of the property. The lake and mountains are a great background for a vacation. Plenty of room inside for everyone. Lots of fun things on property to do- kayaking, swimming and fishing to name a few. We saw deer outside on the front lawn one morning. All the amenities you will need for a getaway no matter how long your stay is. Property was well taken care of inside and out. Our dogs had the best time running and playing and swimming in the lake. We stayed 10 days this time and it was not long enough. Waking up to the nature surrounding this cabin is unforgettable. Thanks To the host who is always helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

This was our second time staying at Blue Haven. The cabin provides everything our family needs to have a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing time in the North Carolina mountains.

super helpful when we were trying to find it. host was worried gps would send us the wrong way and gave step by step directions. thankfully, our gps worked out fine because we came in from the opposite side of the mountain, but his directions were on point coming from the other side. beautiful view. nice and clean. within 20 min from most anything you could want to do.

We had a wonderful trip! Enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views from the deck. Our first time to the smoky mountains and we were very pleased with the location and ease of getting to the park. Especially enjoyed the quieter side of the park. Host was very responsive to our questions and things we needed help with. We would definitely stay at their properties again. Cozy bed and everything we needed for the week. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the outdoor spaces in this house are amazing. The views from the decks are stunning and the deck furniture is comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub, and were treated to lots of fireflies in the trees. The kitchen and living room are very nice and the whole house was spotlessly clean. We loved the shuffle board table. Our only problem was that the upstairs bedroom, while nice and has a super comfortable bed, is actually a loft. We were two couples travelling together, so the couple who had the loft did not have privacy, and the bedroom was not as quiet as if it were enclosed. This was not mentioned in the listing. One of the pictures kind of shows this, but if you are not looking carefully you would miss this. This may not be an issue for your group, but it is worth mentioning. Also, the road driving up is very narrow and steep, and for our flat lander driver was a bit scary. Even with those issues, it is still a 5 star rental!

This one one of my favorite stays! Super cute and comfortable home in the mountains. Beautiful views, games for the family, and close to river activities. We did lose internet service for part of our stay, and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. However, if it is important to you, plan for an alternative just in case because there's next to no service up there. I don't usually stay places more than once because I like to try new things, but this one is going on my favorites list!

This was such a wonderful place to stay! The views were amazing and the hot tub was very clean. The cabin was so spacious and such a cozy spot for our overnight stay. Would absolutely recommend!!

The cabin was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities and a welcoming, peaceful energy. It held true to everything we were hoping for - private, quiet, and full of good vibes. The hosts were kind and responsive, even before our arrival. They provided clear directions, including a helpful video that guided us right to their tucked-away mountain retreat. That level of care made a big difference and helped us settle in quickly. The home itself was clean, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we needed for a restful stay. We enjoyed early mornings on the deck, long quiet drives through the Smokies, and simply being still. It allowed for a much needed pause. We had a positive experience and would absolutely recommend this beautiful hideaway .

this place is amazing. would definitely stay again. a little tricky to find the private driveway but once you get there it's super. it's a hop and skip away from all the great roads including the Tail of the Dragon which is just so good.

We love this cabin! Always clean and a beautiful property. We love to come to Otto for all the hiking and nature filled activities to do around the area. It’s my favorite place to stay when we come to the mountains to relax.

adorable cabin surrounded by trees with a very convenient dog park across from the driveway. i loved staying at this cabin! it truly made our trip so much better. the hosts were very friendly & helpful. there's grocery stores >5 min from cabin & a cute downtown area with shops & eats all close by. i would live there if i could!

Serenity Wow is ALWAYS a very pleasant stay! The place is beautiful & in a GREAT location! Check out The Sawmill Place one morning for breakfast. The food there is so good! But yeah if you’re staying in Blairsville, GA you can’t go wrong with Serenity Wow. It’s definitely in a classic of its own.

Best experience I've had with AirBnB. Michelle was friendly and polite. The cabin was exactly as described, clean and great for our weekend getaway. 5/5 would recommend.

We had such an amazing stay! The view alone is worth booking, but everything else just made it even better. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful and secluded enough to feel like a true getaway, but still close to town for anything you might need. Makenzi was absolutely wonderful—great communication, super friendly, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. You can tell they really care about the space AND the people staying in it. Honestly, the only downside was having to pack up and leave. We’re so grateful they shared their slice of heaven with us, and we’d recommend this place in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate—book it!

Allison and Chris's cabin is beautiful and very peaceful. It was also extremely well-stocked and had everything we could possibly need. We had a wonderful time hiking nearby, and we spent a ton of time relaxing on the deck.

I really like the location on the knoll surrounded by trees and valleys. A bit of traffic noise, but not inside the cabin. Every supply anyone could think of or forget to bring.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip. The house itself is well-appointed—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. We especially loved the large windows that provided stunning views of the lake at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and the living spaces were comfortable for both quiet mornings and game-filled evenings. The private access to the lake was a major highlight. Whether we were swimming, kayaking, or just sitting around the campfire, it felt like we had a little slice of heaven to ourselves. The water is calm, and the surrounding mountains add to the serenity. If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with all the comforts of home, this is the place.

Our stay was beyond perfect! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. The home was in perfect condition. The loft was great as was the hot tub! I highly recommend this location and booking with Anita! She was very responsive and very friendly. Thank you for allowing us your space to make unforgettable memories!

Wonderful excluded area, great place to get away! Lovely area make sure you pack hiking shoes, and bring an SUV some of the hills are pretty steep on the drive!

Absolutely beautiful! Just a warning that this cabin will raise your expectations for every other stay afterwards. Michael thought of everything that you might need during your stay and then exceeds those expectations. The whole home is just perfectly beautiful and perfectly decorated. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked beyond just the essentials, including spices, cooking utensils, teas, coffees, pots/pans, etc. The beds are delightfully comfortable. And the view... the view from the living room and the front porch is just beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you book this cabin. Just do it! I hope to revisit in the future.

The cabin is well appointed and inviting. The lights and heating were on for our arrival. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, soaking in the hot tub and playing horse shoes and corn hole. The view of the lake was incredible. If you’re in the area for a wedding or some hiking, Anne’s place is an ideal base.

We're so glad we chose Kathy's house for our time in the mountains. It was clean and well-equipped. Her instructions were very clear and she was easy to reach with questions. And the views! Gorgeous !

The Bothy was absolutely stunning; it provided the perfect retreat for us to unwind, read, and immerse ourselves in nature. This location truly surpassed our hopes. The meticulous design and skilled craftsmanship are evident throughout every corner of the home. We particularly enjoyed how the doors to the screened porch seamlessly connected the interior with the outdoors, making us feel as though we were right beside the babbling creek in the heart of the meadow. Thank you for offering such a delightful place to relax. We will definitely return!
