Holiday rentals with a kayak in Narragansett

Beautiful place. We caught fish off the dock. Loved sitting in the kitchen,catching up with friends.

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

We stayed at Jennifer's Wakefield Bungalow over a weekend with our dog in tow. What a gem! Both Jennifer and the bungalow! It's cozy, comfortable, clean, and exceptionally well stocked, especially the kitchen. The fenced-in area with a deck in the back made it easy to safely get the dog out. Jennifer's guidebook was filled with clearly written information on what was where and how things worked. There were also helpful suggestions on local attractions and places to eat, a few of which we took advantage of. You walk a couple of hundred yards and you are literally at the edge of the village, on the water, that's filled with little shops and great places to eat and drink. The whole experience was as close to perfect as one could hope for.

Our stay here was amazing! So much attention to detail was put into every aspect of this home. It was spotless and very well maintained. We enjoyed being able to use the kayaks, paddleboards, and canoe. We never felt like something was missing and never had a hard time finding what we needed. It is such a quiet and peaceful area and we spent a lot of time just sitting by the water relaxing. We loved being able to have a fire right by the water as well. The downstairs game room/theatre was a blast as well. Overall I would 100% book a stay here in the future and highly recommend it.

This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The house is beautiful, very well kitted out and thoughtfully presented. The location is tranquil and restful. Ann is the perfect host. We love it here. X

The house was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. We loved watching the ice fishing, skating and go carting on the lake! We even went out on the frozen lake! It was close to my daughter’s home in Voluntown…. Only 4 minutes away! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond as we were there to celebrate my granddaughters’ first birthday! They left a gift for her and some welcome gifts for us too! Amazing!! They brought a table and chairs for extra seating!! Phil and Staci were amazing hosts and always responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Gorgeous view, great location, clean, comfortable, I can’t say enough good things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We day-tripped to Boston and spent a lot of time in Newport, but we also LOVED the small town of Wickford that was close by. Lots of good restaurants. But I can honestly say I would have been content to just hang around the house and use the hot tub and kayaks. The back patio is incredible and the view is breathtaking. Get up and watch the sunrise over the water. You’ll thank me later. The place was only surpassed by the incredible hostess. Kelly was ultra-responsive, her restaurant recommendations were great, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need. Including borrowing her sister’s pack N play so we could have 2 since we had several young kids with us. She set us up with things we didn’t even think to ask for. You can tell she’s been a hostess for a while. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Beautiful home!! Plan on coming back to Newport and if this home is available we will definitely stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was so very peaceful and we loved being literally right around n the water! Slept amazingly well and the cottage was just lovely! Robert was also a great host. 5 stars all around and we hope to return again!

Linlin was a wonderful host and we loved this adorable cottage. It was incredibly clean, while still being warm and welcoming for us (and our pup). It's a little farther from the water than we had anticipated, but it's a relatively short and private walk to a dock with kayaks and beautiful views. Highly recommend!

We had such a fantastic stay at this special home right on the river in lovely Mystic! It came stocked with everything we needed for a fun couple’s getaway. Gerard was so friendly and accommodating - we felt right at home. Can’t wait to return!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Alexander’s Lake is gorgeous and this lovely cottage sits right on the water allowing you to take the kayaks out to explore the lake. I even got lucky while fishing from the dock and the kayak! Great views in the morning and evening. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be looking to stay again!

Home and area were beautiful! Everything was well stocked for our month-long stay, and they even had a jar of dog treats that our pup was very grateful for. Loved that the home was right off of a beautiful run/bike bath too. Great restaurants close by and a yoga studio within walking distance. We had a great time, thank you!

My sister, dog and I stayed at the cottage for the weekend and had a great experience! Erika is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The cottage itself was exactly as pictured. Breakfast in the inn, cooked with natural and organic ingredients, is an absolute must. The location of the inn is great as well, with direct access to the Lantern Hill trail (which our dog loved) and only a short drive from downtown. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house was even better than the pictures! It had absolutely everything you would need for a perfect staycation, and with a private beach where the sun sets right across the water, it truly is a little slice of heaven! There was so much to do with even more than expected, like the foosball coffee table which was a big hit or the arcade machine which had over 1000 games! A ton of fun surprises, we even got lost looking at all the artwork and decorations! The perfect day of tanning ending with a fire on the beach for dinner and smores, then to the inside to play vinyls and games the rest of the night. A dream house and the perfect place for great memories, I wish I never had to leave! And with great hosts that are very responsive you will never have a problem, even letting us add a last minute late checkout! Will definitely be back again soon felt very at home!

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

Paul was a wonderful host! He was great with communication, proactive, and accommodating. The cabin was beautiful and awesome location right on the marina. We would highly recommend to our family and friends!

We stayed at Lakeside Landing with our 1 year old to enjoy Father’s Day weekend in the Mystic area. This place was perfect to enjoy a fire by the lake, watch the deer and other wildlife, and spend a few cozy evenings snuggled up in the living room. Everything was perfect!

Had a great time in this peaceful wonderful setting. Saw and heard maybe 40 bird species. (Using Merlin app). Frogs and turtles too!everything we needed! Beds are very comfortable!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Karin’s place. She is a gracious host. There were great cottage offers beautiful lake experiences, including beautiful sunsets. She has a great waterfront and an expansive yard. It’s located on the Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island border with easy access to 3 states.

Great camp and peaceful area. Angela is a great host and very accommodating. I have stayed twice and would definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved staying at Tim’s cabin! Tim was such an accommodating and thoughtful host. When we told him that we would be traveling with our baby, he made some changes around the cabin to make things easier for us. We loved all of the small details that Tim has put into the cabin and its peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed all of the yummy treats that he has provided for us! It was a much needed getaway for me and my wife. We would love to come back again!

Paul was very responsive. When we got there our room had not been cleaned. We got in touch with him and he immediately switched our room to a clean one which was fine. He was very apologetic and even brought us a bottle of prosecco. The place was cute, modern, and clean. Can't really walk to anything because it's off a busy road but it sits on the river with a beautiful view and many chairs to sit in and enjoy. We made a fire in the fire pit and cooked on the grill one chilly night. It was very nice. Close and convenient to many attractions in the area. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed it too.
