House Albanus in Schweigenberg
In the middle of vineyards lies the Albanus house at the foot of the Schweigenberg, a southern slope in the Saale/ Unstrut. It was built in 1906 from a simple one that had existed since 1804 vineyard house to a so-called "Swiss house" with large slate roof and pergola. The special feature is the view in all directions of the Cultural landscape of the Unstrut Valley: to Neuenburg Castle, to the Unstrut, to the Zscheiplitz Monastery or across the fields.
