Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. A train station is a 10-minute walk away (RE to Cologne/Aachen and Cologne S-Bahn). Directly to Messe Köln-Deutz in about 50 minutes. Shopping/restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. The vacation home is about 90 square meters and can accommodate 2-6 people, spread over 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the modern furnished living-dining room with open kitchen, a pellet fireplace, a bedroom and the shower room. The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. Naturklang, Landhaus am Ausguck Helten

The new country house is something very special: spacious and comfortable, furnished with high quality furniture, with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Through the mainly glazed front of the house you look over the garden into the wide landscape of the Oberbergisch. The country house is built ecologically. The small lodge with two additional sleeping facilities (only suitable for sleeping on warm nights) is located on the garden slope. In the garden there is a new sauna house.

Apartment Broche, vacation from everyday life

Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Dog-friendly home. ENTIRE HOUSE: If you'd like to book the entire house, no problem. Only possible with a booking of 9 or more guests. CORONA UPDATE: To limit risks of transmission, I have moved to an apartment in the cellar. The kitchen and dining/living rooms may be used at any time. These former "communal areas" are now private during your stay - just for you. 4 bedrooms (each sleeps up to 3 people, more if you don't mind being a bit squeezed) and 2 full baths.

The lovingly converted vacation home in a former chapel offers space for up to 10 people on 150 m². Five individually designed bedrooms – three with double beds, two with bunk beds – as well as three modern bathrooms, some with a rain shower, ensure comfort. Underfloor heating in all rooms, a spacious living and dining area with pellet stove, 77-inch smart TV and large table, a fully equipped kitchen, three parking spaces and an e-charging station complete the offer.

House in a rural area

The place offers plenty of room for the whole family. Located directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can make wonderful excursions on foot or by bike. If you want to go for a short walk in the evening, the nearby Tretbecken invites you to linger. The house, located on the outskirts of Hilchenbach-Grund, is surrounded by meadows and forests. In the immediate vicinity is a small horse stable. There is a ski slope and a toboggan run in the neighboring village.

Small cottage with distant views of the Oberbergisches Land

Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

Our lovingly furnished, cozy vacation home is located in the idyllic village of Lützel, which, with its location right on the Rothaarsteig, offers the ideal accommodation for hikers, families or couples. In addition to the large garden, a south-facing terrace and a south-facing balcony offer the opportunity to relax by the fish pond or in the sauna.
