If you prefer to escape from the city the Elbe sandstone mountains are reachable in just 45 minutes to hike, climb or simply enjoy the nature.

Erzgebirge vacation home

Our apartment is quietly and centrally located in the Rechenberg district as an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding forests. We are easily accessible by both car and train. Rechenberg train station is only about 5 minutes walk away. The Rechenberger Ökobad is a 200 m walk away. The cross-country ski areas in Nassau or Holzhau can be reached quickly. Rechenberg is also right on the Blockline, a mountain bike route with a total of 15 stages.

A ground floor apartment with a special relaxing effect. The apartment, which is over 50 m², offers everything you need to switch off for a few days/weeks. The fireplace in the living room contributes to the cozy atmosphere in the evening. As a small special feature, our alpine hut is located directly in the garden of our property. Nearby there are many good viewing platforms from which you can see a wonderful view over parts of the Osterz Mountains.

The accommodation is next to a riding courtyard, in the neighboring village there is a large outdoor swimming pool and in 20 minutes you are in Saxon Switzerland or in beautiful Dresden. The apartment is on the second floor of a more than 300-year-old half-timbered house in traditional clay construction. The listed house has been professionally completely renovated and comfortably furnished with a lot of love for detail. The ecological construction ensures a very healthy indoor climate. In the garden there is also a rustic, wood-heated Finnish log cabin sauna, which we will gladly heat up for you for an extra charge of €15.
