Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Orleans

Super cute. Close to everything but far enough out of the city to enjoy peace and quiet. At first the location looked a little concerning due to the condition of the neighbors house but was quickly reassured when we met the neighborhood watch folks and the neighbors. LOVED the old, deep, porceline bathtub, and the wood floors. Large can of coffee grounds in the freezer saved a trip to the store. Oh, and the pub on the corner, Eveleines, has AWESOME food. Allso, Monday restaurant and bar is equally good. Both less than 3 minutes from the house. Best Air BnB bargian in New Orleans.

It was wonderful staying at this air bnb. There is a shared porch and backyard with the other tenants in the other unit. They were all super nice and had great conversations when we saw them!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in New Orleans, and we had a wonderful stay. We absolutely love the area — after our first day, we decided to explore locally and enjoyed all the fantastic bars and restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood has such a vibrant and lively atmosphere, making it the perfect place to immerse ourselves in the NOLA experience. One thing to note is that, due to the popularity of the area and its many great dining options, parking near the AirBnB was challenging. We usually parked a few blocks away, which wasn't a big issue for us, but I thought it was worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the charm and excitement of New Orleans!

The location of Jason’s house was great - we were within a 10-15 minute drive of just about everything we wanted to do. The house looked exactly like the pictures but was bigger than the pictures make it look. Jason was very responsive when we had questions and provided local recommendations.

We had a great stay at Jenee’s place - it was a perfect tranquil counterpoint to the quarter and more raucous neighborhoods. You have to be willing to use the ferry to get back and forth , but it’s 1.5 blocks away. There are limited choices for restaurants / attractions , but that is maybe why it’s so charming and perfect. The porch was lovely for coffee and sitting in the evening too for people watching.

Comfortable and perfectly located in a great area! We had everything we needed for a family vacation. The pool and spa worked great and we just took one morning to swim, relax, and visit with each other in that awesome tropical backyard. We had a car so we didn’t need transportation but we did walk to the streetcar one day, plus it would be easy to Uber/Lyft from Gary’s place to the popular locations in New Orleans. We didn’t cook, because, frankly, why would you in food paradise when the local restaurants do it so well, but the kitchen was well stocked should you want to cook. We had fun using the game table, TVs, and sound system. Everything was a hit with our kids who were with us to celebrate their recent college graduations. We would stay here again for any occasion but the end of May was the perfect time for warm weather AND the end of crawfish season which we were thrilled to miss. Thanks, Gary!

Fantastic little townhome in the Garden District. Less than 5 minute walk to a nearby bakery/coffee shop and so many other restaurants. Plenty of street parking and easy to get to the trolley

Our stay was very enjoyable, and I cannot complement the host enough. She was super responsive, very accommodating, she gave great directions, and she thoughtfully had on hand everything you could possibly need for your stay, plus extras. The house felt private and safe, and was conveniently located. I have no real complaints about the stay apart from the traffic noise could be a bit much at times, and I didn’t particularly care for the strong vanilla scent in the home. (Which, I’m 100% sure if I contacted the host about the fragrance she would have instantly made an effort to fix it, it was just something I personally didn’t care for and wanted to mention in case someone has asthma or gets headaches from strong scents.) TLDR: It’s a convenient, functional space in a safe neighborhood, with a 5 star host.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean und had everything we needed. The ferry to cross the Mississippi River is a short walk away. Daniel agreed to let us check out a few hours later. Thanks for your flexibility! Also, great money for value.

The apartment more than met our needs. Plenty of space and very easy to walk to all the French Quarter locations as well as the convention center. Beds were comfortable, access to the property was easy and the host communication was proactive with fast responses.

SUPER cute BNB, and with a very welcoming host! The place is so cute, and well stocked with everything you could need. Perfect location to take the ferry to the French quarter, but feel more like a local in your down time. Can't recommend it enough!

Steven's place was perfect for our trip! We had two days in New Orleans and the location was ideal. 25-30 minute walk to the French Quarter or 2 minute walk to the nearest streetcar station which can also take you up through the Garden District and Magazine Street. Nearby shops and restaurants are also great! The place was clean and has everything you need for your stay. Check in/check out is super easy and secure and Steven is an incredibly responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Layla was such a lovely host! She went above and beyond to help me celebrate my friend’s birthday, including helping me coordinate a cake delivery and even setting it up prior to our arrival AND setting up extra decorations (without me knowing - how sweet)! She also was extremely responsive prior and throughout. The space was very clean and well thought out, and even though it’s below where the family lives, it felt very private. We felt safe and cared for. I’d highly recommend this space!

We loved Tim’s place! I work in New Orleans often, and this is one of the most convenient and comfortable homes I’ve Airbnb’d. Tim was helpful and responsive and it’s clear that he puts a ton of work into making folks feel welcome in the crescent city.

We had an amazing weekend at Jeannette’s place! It was in a perfect location and had plenty of privacy. It was also very very safe and secure which was an awesome touch for our girls weekend! We will definitely be back!

Michelle’s place was as advertised with lots of room, clean, relatively quiet for its location and a great Mediterranean restaurant right next door as an extra bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close location to the French Quarter but far enough away from the crowds.

I came here for a conference and brought my big dog. We both loved it! Great location- easy walk to canal street and bourbon street. Little corner shop 2 minutes away that had plenty of food and snacks and alcohol. Tons of dog friendly bars and restaurants nearby. Felt safe. It was surprisingly quiet inside the condo for being downtown. Bedroom was nice and dark and the bed was comfy. There’s a little park that’s about a 4 minute walk that was perfect for my dog to go potty. And had plenty of shade to escape the sun. Only downside was that it was across the main intersection there but it was easy enough to navigate. Parking was super easy even though pricey- parked in the lot around the corner. $46/day. I would def stay here again! We liked it so much that I extended my stay by an extra day and it was very easy to communicate with the host to make that happen.

This apartment was great. There is a noisy bar across the street but you don’t hear it in the bedroom. It’s beautiful inside and close to lots of restaurants and bus stops.

Everything met our needs. The location was advertised as 10 minute drive to French Quarter. It’s 1.4 miles. Which is much closer that I imagined. Quiet area after a long night in the Quarter.

My wife & I stayed at Brad & Ben's loft in downtown New Orleans for a couple of nights while in town for a family wedding. Loved it! Great location near the French Quarter and other local destinations. The loft is very nice, clean and most importantly - great beds & sheets! When in this kind of location and being out & about, that's really the most important thing to get recharged. Very nicely appointed and clean, zero complaints. Brad's communications and instructions were very clear and well organized, making everything simple. Much appreciated and would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, clean, and surprisingly peaceful spot. Close to Frenchman street too! We were very comfortable and appreciated that the hosts provided early check in. No complaints.

A perfectly appointed, spotless, HUGE apartment located steps away from the French Quarter. Safe and secure. Street noise at night so if you need perfectly quiet to sleep, that could be an issue but with earplugs, it was okay for us! Would stay and reccomend to anyone.
