We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Apartment with a view of nature

Your vacation starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours right away. The apartment has one bedroom, a guest room for 2 additional guests, a large bathroom with a tub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can grill and enjoy the sun on the large southeast-facing terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

whiteloft in Quartier S67

The whiteloft is one of our top locations that we have been offering on Airb&b since Oct 22. The loft is about 130 square meters, ceiling height 5.5 meters 50% of the area is designed for wellness & living only. Bathtub, daybed, 2-person spiral shower and Real wood fireplace leave nothing to be desired. In summer, a 5 x 4 meter gate can be opened which makes the lower loft area a convertible. The large kitchenette and the block are suitable for events A wine refrigerator, 4 gas burners and a ceramic stovetop are included

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the Westerwald

Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, like hiking or cycling, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to stock up for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is about 10 minutes by car. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets available. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or take a sauna in bad weather.

THE small HUT - hiking. biking. experience nature.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Welcome at "Haus Hermann" – a place for wellness & adventure with modern facilities. Enjoy the nice view and find your getaway to wind down & relax in our officially certified 5-star holiday home. The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. "Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

DorfLandFeld Vacation home in the ♡ of the Westerwald

The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
