There is also a laundry available in the Wash House. Located in the heart of moose country, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see the moose, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes and other wildlife. It's only a short and beautiful 1.7 mile walk to the Kenai Peninsula Fair Grounds.

Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. We have 2 cabins that sleep 4 each. Sitting on 10 acres. Sandhill Cranes, local birds, and plenty of moose. There is a cow moose with twins again. We are 4 miles from Anchor Point, and the world renowned Anchor River. We are 5 miles from the ocean. A large lot to park and turn your toys around in right by your cabin. Absolutely no pets allowed…. We love animals, yet do not want to clean up after them and do not want the allergens for future guests. Very private and peaceful.

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
