We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he quickly came to the place and fixed it. Delightful heated pool. Quiet and peaceful area with short distance to the sea.

Comfortable heated pool, with beautiful outdoor area. Cozy and accommodating host. Large rich center nearby. The only thing we missed was the possibility of cooling off bedrooms. Highly recommended.

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

Great host, great stay, exceeded expectations. We were really happy with the place, it had plenty of room and beds for our guests. There is room for 2-3 cars at front, could not hear any road noise so it was peaceful, plenty of bedding and everything felt clean and fresh. Kids loved using the trampoline and playing some of the many games that are around. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and everything you need. Iron and ironing board was handy as well as washing machine. Gym was a nice to have with TV whilst you work out. The host was really quick to respond when we had questions and they were very professional. Overall, we loved our stay here!

I really enjoyed my time in Maria Helen's beautiful apartment. It's very nicely furnished and i directly felt like home. There are good parking spaces and the area is very quiet and beautiful. The communication with Maria Helen was friendly all the time and she answered my questions quickly. I can definitely recommend this apartment.

Kaja hosted us in our home when we were going through a tough time. We had a very comfortable stay in our brand new house. It had all the facilities that we could think off. Our kids love it and we are always grateful to her and Torbjorn to make the place available for us in a short notice. We would highly recommend if someone would like to escape the city life. The views from the property were mesmerizing and I think anyone renting this property would have a great time.

The sauna, hot tub, everything in this property and Kristian himself just made our holiday perfect and I cannot thank you enough. The restaurants we tried were perfect. Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. Quiet location, incredibly cozily furnished/partly nostalgic. In a few minutes by bus (and then by ferry to Oslo) and at the grocery store or down on the coast. Rushing stream on the premises.

We had a fantastic stay in the idyllic surroundings of beautiful Vollen! The home was perfect for both work and relaxation, with wide views of the sea and the marina. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the close connection to nature. Everything was set up for a stress-free and comfortable stay – a big thank you to Truls, who was a wonderful host and made sure everything worked smoothly from start to finish. Fast and stable internet made it easy to work efficiently, and all the practical details were thoughtfully in place. Private parking right by the house was also a big plus and made logistics simple. In addition, options for public transport was easily accessible, a short walk to the bus or an efficient boat service directly from Vollen to Aker Brygge in Oslo – practical and enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely place and a great experience – we’d be happy to return!

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We loved staying at Inke’s cabin, so peaceful and very well equipped. It was great to chill out in and explore the area around the cabin but also easy to take the bus and ferry back in to Oslo to the galleries and museums. We travelled on public transport and found it easy to get to, with a pizza place in walking distance and a large supermarket one bus stop away. Inke and Ralph were incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We were a large group of friends who rented this large, fascinating, charming, soulful and very beautifully located house for a weekend, to celebrate a festive occasion. We had a great weekend and all enjoyed ourselves, and the hosts Hauk and Levor were very helpful and quick to answer the questions we had before we arrived. Although this is an older house, which in some areas may not fully have its former glory intact, it is hardly possible to find a better place around the Oslofjord if you want a beautiful, fjord-near and fascinating setting for your trip or event. Extra plus for large outdoor area/barbecue area, with fantastic views of the Oslofjord - and the warmest recommendations from here! 🌞

Very nice house that is very suitable for two families with children. New, modern and big. Here there was a good bolting space for both young and old, also those on four legs. All necessary children's equipment was available. Lovely garden with several seating groups and play area. The house is a short walk from Drøbak center/harbor/beach. All in all a prime place to rent - recommended!

We felt very comfortable at the place. It is very cozily furnished and everything was very clean. The apartment is very idyllically located in a large garden overlooking the fjord. You can easily get to Oslo by bus. Anna Sofie was a great host!

Really amazing home with magnificent views, the house is very large, modern and well equipped. The decoration is warm and beautiful with high taste. The location is wonderful, the house is about 20 minutes to Oslo center and 40 minutes to Oslo airport, in addition there are a lot malls in the area, there are a mall within 1km distance only with many shops and restaurants. In this home you will feel like you are in the nature but you are also in the city. Which was a great combination. Lydia and Per was amazing hosts, they are always responsive, friendly and welcoming.. it was great to meet them. This is definitely one of best airbnb stays that I have experienced, and i will definitely love to visit again.
