Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in North Shore, Hauraki

We loved our brief stay at Colin and Aitu's place! The setting is so peaceful and we could not have felt more comfortable after a day of fun on Waiheke. The rooms are spacious, plush, and super clean. Breakfast was delicious (amazing fruit!) and we would have loved a longer stay. We would love to visit again and recommend a stay here.

A handy spot for Devonport or Takapuna. Easy to find. Very small bedrooms up a flight of stairs from the small bathroom & toilet combined. Lovely kind hosts.

A good location and not far from either Avondale or New Lynn train stations. Great breakfast provided, and Host also cooks dinner for a modest price ($15.00 in my case). Host transported me to my next location at no fee (which was not far away)

Felt really welcomed by the lovely hosts, even though it was a flying visit. Loved the colourful decor and artworks.

The stay at Christine and John's place was just perfect! Everything was as described and beyond. Christine and John are such awesome, heartwarming and amazing persons. Never had such a great AirBnB stay like with Christine and John. Whenever you felt like a chat they were happy to have one - when you felt that you want more privacy that was also absolutely fine. Felt like family from the start! Also the area is great. Quiet, but just one short walk away from Mount Eden and Dominion Road with a lot of restaurants available. The breakfast and especially Christines Bircher Müsli was also a great plus and the perfect start in the day. Just perfect! Can't wait to return!

Great accommodation. We had a sports team of ten players stay across two of the three units on this site. Beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities great and just a 15 minute drive from our venue (Bruce Pulman). All in all an excellent stay.

This amazing home set in the quiet countryside is like staying at a flash hotel. The setting, gardens and home are suberbly designed and cared for. This place is a total escape and treat for the eyes. With amazing palms, architecture, books and architecture. Paddy also spoils your tummy with a generous breakfast. I really enjoyed his homemade cereal, fruit and yogurt. Yummy toast and a selection of jams are also provided and Paddy makes a delicious flat white! I really loved the treats in my room which included beer, bubbles coffee and chocolate! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did!

Melissa and Jason's home is in a suburban area but feels like a country hideaway. The home is set away from the road next to a large paddock with an outlook towards grassy hills and trees. Myself and my partner booked and stayed for 4 nights. This was our first air bnb experience. There was enough parking for our 2 cars. The home is lovely and very clean with high ceilings and lots of timber. The room is on the lower floor with access to a bathroom and toilet right next to it. It is warm with lots of space to move around and put your bags in. Extra blankets and heating as well if needed. It sits adjacent to a deck that the room has a sliding door to. The outdoor area is relaxing and there's a Guinea pig in one part if the yard and two cute cats. Jason and Melissa were wonderful hosts showed us around, socialized when we wanted or just left us to do our thing. Melissa offered to make meals if we requested. We didn't need this but one night we came back there were some delicious smells coming from the kitchen. They gave us access to their wifi and closed curtains and doors for us if we were out to make sure cats didnt come in and room was warm. Its little touches like that we most appreciated. Melissa is very attentive and concerned with being a gracious host. We thought you were both amazing. Thank you

Barry and Antoinette are the perfect hosts. They were so friendly, welcoming and extremely accommodating to a few requests we had asked. Having the convenience of being picked up and dropped off to the ferry by Barry was so helpful given we were relying on public transport. The rooms were spotlessly clean with plenty of space and the beds were super comfortable. The continental breakfast was just delicious with plenty of choices, a lovely thoughtful touch. We couldn't have been happier with our lovely stay and will definitely go back and enjoy Barry and Antoinette's hospitality again.

A great place to stay for a night close to the airport. We arrived and I realised I hadn’t contacted the host for check in information so was worried we would be stuck outside for a while until they replied but they replied straight away with the code for the door! The place was absolutely spotless and was very convenient to get to the airport in the morning.

The owner, Sesel, is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended. I want to complement the owner's responsiveness through out my stay. She is quick in answering any of my question and is very helpful and considerate. I cannot thank the host enough for all they did to make my stay enjoyable. The room itself is spacious, private, tidy, clean and comfortable. I also had all the amenities I needed. It was a pleasant place to come back to everyday. It close to public transport, the Sunnynook bus station where the buses can take you to the city within 30 minutes, as well as accessible to beaches, Countdown, gym and courts. The photos do not do justice. Simply very convenient -- Love it, couldn't ask for more. The whole experience made me feel right at home in a foreign country. I enjoyed the delicious food. I would definitely come back again in the future. It's a special place. Thank you, Sesel, your husband, and your lovely three kids. I will cherish our group photo. See you !

What a lovely cabin does Liam has! The views are amazing and the cabin is very neat and has everything you wish for (even breakfast and a washing machine!) I wish I could have stayed longer!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shareen's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, Shareen was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect—close to local attractions and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Shareen's place. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I look forward to returning in the future!

We had a wonderful experience at Kirsty’s home! Kirsty was easy to communicate with, always responsive, and very accommodating. The place itself was nice and comfy - clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, close to downtown, so it was convenient to explore the city while still being in a quiet area. Would definitely stay here again!
