This place was so beautiful! it was right on the beach and was so quiet and peaceful. the area is extremely clean and safe and very family friendly. it is right next to a pier that is open 24/7 and you can fish off of it. the beach itself is very clean as well. no trash at all. the house was extremely clean and had beautiful views from 2/3 bedrooms! very inviting and safe. we felt right at home. the host was super communicative and very accommodating when she didn't need to be. we were so grateful to have a wonderful stay and a wonderful host!

Great place for a weekend getaway! We enjoyed the unit and its location was perfect. We had everything we needed for a long weekend. John took the time to write us a personal welcome note and we appreciated the extra touch. Would definitely recommend and visit this stay again. Thanks John!

This was our 2nd time visiting Topsail Dunes, and Kara and Kim's place did not disappoint. The unit is exactly as pictured, is thoughtfully stocked with most things you need, and is a paradise away from home. There really are beach chairs waiting for you, a beach umbrella and anchor...you don't need to pack all that stuff. There are plenty of dishes, and enough cookware for anything we wanted to whip up. The washer/dryer are a major plus! The view and breeze from this 3rd floor unit are breathtaking. And, you will not ever get tired of the sounds of the waves rolling in. The hosts? Fabulous communication, friendly as can be, really seem to love sharing their place and it shows. I highly recommend this unit and these hosts. Kara and Kim, thank you! We will be back. Also, don't overlook the freedom of scheduling. Some hosts restrict you to Saturday-to-Saturday rentals. We were able to do 8 nights and would do it again! Thanks Kara & Kim!

We stayed here because we needed a budget-friendly place while visiting our son, who was stationed at MCAS New River for special training. If you just need a clean, no-frills, affordable place to crash, this is a solid choice. The location is definitely the highlight—just a short walk to the river and a quick drive to the beach, plus putt-putt and some delicious restaurants nearby. It was perfect for hanging out with our son and taking him off base. Our host, Malory, was great—super friendly and quick to respond. We had a small parking hiccup, but she took care of it right away and was really apologetic even though it wasn’t her fault. Overall, this was exactly what we needed and a great value. Hopefully, this helps anyone else looking for a simple, budget spot nearby!

Great location close to the beach. The "condo" is located in a motel which threw me off but other than our drunk neighbors fighting on our first night, the stay was great. There is laundry on the premises but if the door isn't left open you can't get in without a keyboard, which you don't get because the condo is not a part of the building, technically, but if its open they will let you use it. Great food and shops around. Overall great stay.

This was such a fun trip & the highlight of my kids summer! We look forward to hopefully visiting again soon. Lisette was an absolute pleasure to work with!

We had a wonderful time at Peaceful Sun Rise on Ocean Drive. We loved the decor and the kitchen had everything a home cook could need to make a nice dinner with local seafood. The house location was ideal for quick trips into Surf City and Sneads Ferry and the beach was just a few steps away. Even though beach access is public access the beach was not crowded at all. Chris was very responsive to any questions we had. As we were checking out, we agreed that we would love to come back and stay again.

This is a beautiful home with wonderful space, peaceful, beach decor, comfortable beds and furniture, immaculately clean. We loved all the usable chairs, tables, swings, tiki bar set up outdoors. The outdoor downstairs warm shower was great (including the kiddie pool). The 6 new beach chairs were terrific. There is an umbrella and a sunshade, beach towels, lots of kid beach toys, body boards. soccer ball, kids corn hole boards, and lots of games and tons of books. There is a baby chair, a bassinet, and a white sound machine, The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you might need to cook - coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot, blenders, utensils, great knife set, containers for leftovers, pots and pans, some spices. The laundry and kitchen are stocked with necessary detergents. We had a wonderful time and hope to book again. You will love this place.
