Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

truly a home from home it has every thing from airfryer to washing machine. Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

A wonderful stay even better than expected! Such a lovely place in a beautiful setting the perfect countryside escape. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the Annex had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. My two children absolutely loved it and are now dreaming of living on a farm! The thoughtful touches like cereal, milk, and coffee waiting for us on arrival really made it feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to returning soon if this little gem is still available!

We followed the directions and arrived a little bit early, Stephen was happy to meet us and showed us round the property and the facilities. The house was quirky and lovely. Ideal for a stay in the Peak District, cooking facilities were great as was the bathroom. Thank you Stephen.

Zoe's place was absolutely delightful, everything you could need and an extremely comfy bed. Zoe was friendly, kind and helpful; she gave us a lovely greeting with lots of tips for local sights and eats. We would gladly stay here again ☺️

Great base for me as I was an exhibitor at BBC Gardeners World Live so wanted a self contained space to stay that was 10 minutes away and this place fitted that perfectly. Lovely area and the boat pub on the canal is a 5 minute walk away which I highly recommend. Well equipped kitchen and great powerful shower. Comfy bed and convenient parking space. I’d come back here when next in the area.

Sue & Pete were really great, answering questions promptly and being flexible so we could maximise our visit to Glastonbudget. Accommodation was exactly as described and was really clean and had everything needed for a stay. Would recommend and will be back when next in the area.

Fabulous 3 night stay as a family of 6. Cottage is bigger than it appears in the photos, plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped, great shower, wonderful location, lots of charm. Children loved the cats that came to visit and looking out on the horses. Dermot and Anne were lovely hosts, really friendly and gave us useful local information along with breakfast items, tea coffee etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. An absolute gem. I had a great stay overall. The setup is ideal for privacy (you are completely separate from the main house, with easy access via a side gate). The guest house itself is surprisingly spacious (not always a guarantee) and sits in a beautiful garden. Temperature control was easily achieved with blinds drawn, open windows, and a small fan during the warm weather. Shower pressure and water temperature were excellent (even though I couldn't find the on/off switch at first). Wi-fi was fast and reliable. The best part of the experience was all the amenities included (coffee, tea, fresh milk in the fridge, shower gel and shampoo). Location-wise, Moseley is a peaceful suburb with some nice restaurants and shops nearby and easy access to the city by bus (even easier if you have a car). Amjid was nice to talk to when we met a few days in. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulously homely, supremely cosy, well appointed cottage located in the peaceful Derbyshire village of Parwich. Ideal location for walkers, hikers and like me, cyclists. Spotlessly clean and providing everything you need for your restful stay this is a wonderful base from which to explore the countryside of the Peak District. Alexandra is a wonderful, five star host who communicated quickly and effectively before and during the stay and went out of her way to be extra helpful (picking up some basic shopping I asked for given the shopping options within walking distance of the cottage are very limited). She also provided some additional welcome goodies and was extremely helpful during my stay. With the Sycamore Inn nearby (5 mins walk), which doubles as a small village store, you won't go hungry but book in advance as they are normally fully booked especially at weekends. I'm already plotting a return visit later this year. Highly highly recommended.

We booked the annex for a small family gathering as we were going to the nearby NEC for the Gardeners’ World show and so the setting seemed the perfect place with its wonderful garden backdrop. Chris met us at check in and gave us the grand tour and it didn’t disappoint — a truly beautiful space filled with love and care and fantastic plants of all shapes and sizes. The annex itself was wonderful too, ideal for us to cook food each night and make breakfast, and relax on the sofa and catch up. The beds were all super comfortable and the bathroom easily suited us for our needs. A high end finish throughout made our family stay a really enjoyable weekend reunion.

We had a lovely stay - set in a picturesque setting . The place was very homely with a lovely little garden for my dog and some doggie treats which Oscar enjoyed - thank you . X

We stayed a week at Swift Retreat in 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very impressed with Alicia. Alicia is quick to answer requests and helpful in every respect. Having enjoyed it we spent another week their this June and was not disappointed with our decision. Swift Retreat was as clean, uncluttered and yet homely as we remembered it. Alicia was just as helpful and flexible. The week went far too quickly. Can't wait for next year.

Jo and Gerry were such wonderful hosts, we had a lovely time at the annex with our baby son and they made us feel right at home. The annex was so fresh and clean it was almost as though we were the first guests, and it had all the amenities we could need. Our son especially enjoyed feeding the ducks and the beautiful grounds! Thank you for having us!

I have been in Airbnb for few years and I have never had a host this lovely 😊 she was very kind and friendly The place was beautiful and spotless. The bedding and towels were so clean and perfect She was great in communication and brought us lovely delicious strawberries 😊 We really appreciate her Highly recommend

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. You will never find anything as pristine. Andrew was totally responsive, helpful and let us have an early check in which was most appreciated. I came with two adult daughters and a 1 year old. We absolutely loved the gorgeous warm hot tub and fluffy dressing gowns and slippers provided when little one was sleeping. We could use her monitor too outside. We ate all our meals in the garden and it was a bonus having our cars right outside with doors open to cool them. Every type of glass was in the kitchen along with everything you need of high quality. We loved the hot chocolate and coffees in the machine. Plus every type of tea. Andrew and his wife left us cakes, Prosecco, bread and farm products for our stay. Such a lovely treat. As you can gather so appreciated the luxurious barn. Within 20 minutes was Conkers for the little one. We did Twycroft Zoo 18 mins easy drive and Tropical Birdland 7 mins. Playpark at Newbold amazing all ages

Beautifully kitted out was home from home. Kerry & her husband were super friendly they look forward to the business. Superb location for Solihull, Birmingham & surrounding areas, not far from the Stratford upon Avon so great spot. The little pad had everything you need for your stay. Great heating& washer dryer perfect if you’ve been out for walks in the rain or a long day out in the winter. Would highly recommend this air b & b the perfect get away for a single person or couple.

My husband and I stayed at Bolehill View for a week and it was a good base to visit local towns and attractions. The accommodation was lovely, clean, good decor and with all the amenities we needed. We especially liked sitting in the lounge, overlooking the garden and it was very peaceful. Wirksworth itself is a lively town with a number of good restaurants. Jenny, our host, contacted us now and then to check we had everything we needed and left us some goodies for when we arrived. We would highly recommend a stay at Bolehill View.

Host and her husband were great and very accommodating and happy to answer any questions, great communication. Home was clean and had everything we could have asked for, ironing board, shower wash, breakfast, condiments etc. Location was perfect for the wedding we were attending and the host helped us out with details of local taxi companies

The Annex is a perfect get away place. Set in a beautiful village with amazing views and wonderful walks. Tracey was a great host , quick to respond and to make sure you had the best stay. The accomodation is well presented , with everything you need. We found the bed super comfortable & the shower was great . Tracey kindly allowed us to use her decking area to sit outside & the kids loved the space. We would definitely recommend The Annex 😀

Katen is the perfect host, friendly, organised and responsive. We enjoyed a fabulous couple of nights at The Courtyard. The setting is gorgeous up above the Derbyshire Dales and the garden feels private with a view out over the hills. The whitlpool bath is next level luxury - we always book places with hot-tubs and this was our favourite yet - japanese style so nice a deep and plenty of room for too. The rooms are lovely and spacious and we weren’t left wanting anything - a really well set out kitchen and large bathroom were both sparkling clean. Cant recommend a stay here highly enough!

The hosts was there waiting for us at the gate's with a friendly welcoming and if im honest im not the best at meetings new people straight away, unlike my beautiful who wife who is the social butterfly out of the two of us, but straight away i felt comfortable and relaxed especially with lynda 😊 and stuart is just like me tells you what's the important things are and let's you get on with the rest no fuss perfect. Now to The cabin WOW, there's so much i could say but i would be here all day it was perfect especially for me personally, ive got 2 jobs and 3 kids ages 1-5-6 which I love to bits but this was 100% perfect for me and my wife to be together alone and relax its just right every little detail is there for us to feel like were on our first dates again and make each other happy. Thank you for a perfect break we will definitely come again .no kids lol
