This spacious apartment has been lovingly restored and styled by its artist owners and features their original artworks (paintings/lights). The apartment has solid oak flooring, antique Persian rugs and a combination of period French and contemporary designer furniture which contributes to the apartment's special character. A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. A welcome basket of Prosecco or red or white wine and olives as well as breakfast provisions to be found in the kitchen; Artisan bread, butter, preserves, cereals, milk, free-range eggs, fresh fruit juice, Marmite, Betty's/Yorkshire tea and ground coffee. *FREE WI-FI* and *FREE PARKING*. The living room with its linen covered antique chesterfield sofa, large format art books, 42" Smart HD TV with Freeview, DVD player, Bose Bluetooth sound system is perfect for a cosy night in. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. York's many attractions, including The Minster, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, Treasures House, Fairfax House, Castle Museum, National Railway Museum, City Walls, Theatre Royal, City Screen Cinema, Betty's famous Tea Rooms are all 5-10 minutes walk away as well as beautiful riverside walks and restaurants, pubs and bars too numerous to mention. Our self-contained studio apartment has a shower room, store room, well equipped kitchen, superking bed ( Available as 2x3ft. singles if required), a terrace & garden overlooking open countryside with uninterrupted views of the Cleveland Hills & Captain Cook's Monument. It is a 3 min drive/15min walk to the bustling town of Stokesley where there are restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, supermarkets, take-aways, a weekly Friday market and a popular Farmers' Market on the 1st Saturday of the month.

With amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales this is a perfect retreat. We are a quiet community here surrounded by nature. A big comfy bed and candles enables you to relax with your loved one. Toilet, shower, kitchen area, settee and dining set. There is a balcony to sit outside with Hot tub. Toast, eggs, tea and coffee facilities are provided. A network of paths go through our working farm with river and forest and higher land to explore together. Perfect for walking and bird watching.
