Ranch holiday rentals in Northern Europe

The farm is absolutely beautiful. It’s very spacious and there is much to do on and around the farm. The rooms are very tidy, all airconditioned and have their own showers. Beds are comfortable. Pedro is a very relaxed and friendly host, who made us feel welcome and stayed at our disposal for help and advice. Would really recommend a stay at the farm!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille avec trois ado et 2 couples. Le ranch est un très bel hébergement, où l'on sent que chaque détail a été pensé pour respecter le thème et le caractère insolite du lieu. L'environnement est paisible et, même s'il y a d'autres gîtes sur le site, le ranch est très bien isolé. Les équipements du complexe de gîtes sont exceptionnels et tout le matériel est mis à disposition sans surcoût ce qui est très appréciable. L' hébergement est en pleine nature donc il y a des insectes, des feuilles... Comme en camping ! Mais le ménage est fait de manière optimale, le linge est impeccable. Nous avons eu beau temps et avons pu profiter au maximum de l'extérieur. À ce sujet, 2 points peuvent être améliorés : mètre à disposition des transat pour pouvoir se poser plus confortablement qu'à table, et ajouter des lumières extérieures car la nuit tombée c'est un peu juste. Petit point + nous n'avons pas été embêtés par les moustiques !

Super séjour, c'est la deuxième fois que je viens au ranch avec mon fils. Un super accueil de nos hôtes et de très bons conseils pour se promener aux alentours. Une excellente ballade à cheval dans les vignes pour parfaire notre week-end.

Incroyable expérience, « immersion » est vraiment le mot juste. Nick nous accueille chez lui, dans son monde, et il est clair qu’il ne s’agit pas d’un décor mais d’une véritable ferme, un vrai ranch. Pour les enfants, c’est évidemment super et même pour les tout-petits : le baptême d’équitation dans le far-west est un must, mais même en dehors, la proximité des animaux et la tranquillité du lieu permet aux enfants d’évoluer en autonomie. Nick est accessible, disponible, liant. Le confort des bungalows est un peu limité, mais si on le sait, on s’y fait ! Le paysage, enfin, est dingue. Bref, un dépaysement total (sans compter les ressources de la région).

René est un hôte sympathique, accueillant et de bons conseils… l’environnement est réellement paisible… et le logement est propre et fonctionnel

Great apartment located in farm. You would see sheeps and ponies right from your balcony window. We were excited. Everything is fresh new and clean. Great base if you want to discover Netherlands. Ellen was very welcoming and responsive. She left us a lot of food for the first breakfast as we had late check in, big thanks! Would love to come back again!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit unserer Familie. Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Lage und alle haben genug Platz, um sich zu beschäftigen. Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal zu Besuch und werden wieder kommen!!

Von vorne bis hinten TOP 👍👍👍 Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit Sonja war die ganze Zeit über so wie man sich das wünscht, auch persönlich vor Ort äußerst sympathisch. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, ruhig und geräumig, wir haben uns sofort extrem wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr gepflegt, sauber und und in perfektem Zustand. Die Ausstattung war außergewöhnlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren leider nur übers Wochenende da, werden aber auf jeden Fall mit mehr Zeit wieder kommen. We had such a peaceful and refreshing stay at the ranch! The property is beautiful, with wide open space, stunning views, and of course—the horses. I have to admit, we were really looking forward to doing some activities with them, and it was a bit of a disappointment that we didn’t get the chance. That said, the overall experience made up for it. We’re already talking about coming back—and hopefully next time we’ll get to spend more time with the horses!

We spent the second half of February half term at Amy's place, drawn to the 'animal experiences' listed in the title. It was a great find. Our 2 and 5 year old children both love animals and were so excited to be greeted by chickens and sheep as soon as we got out the car. We did the VIP animal experience one day, and our little boy had an amazing time meeting snakes, lizards, spiders and tortoises! I was worried the accommodation would be cold as had seen it mentioned in a previous review, but new heaters have been recently installed and it was extremely toasty. It was simple but perfect for our needs and we were very comfortable, plus a short drive from everything the new forest had to offer. I only wish the weather had been a little less wet but you can't have everything! We'll be back again for sure, it's perfect for young children.

A great place to celebrate a birthday with friends, there are many entertainments for both children and adults on the territory. We will definitely keep in mind that not far from Riga there is such a cool location at a great price.

We spent an amazing 3 weeks here. It was truly a beautiful place. Very quiet and relaxing. We swam in the lake, visited the local markets (kindly recommended by Romain and his parents), walked in the surrounding woods. There was enough space for us all - 2 adults and 2 older kids and a dog. Romain and his parents were really helpful and answered any questions. We felt restored and recharged when we left. This is a really magical place.

Recomand din toată inima! Locul are facilități excelente pentru prețul cerut, este primitor și bine utilat, iar gazda este o persoană minunată și foarte de ajutor! Ne-am simțit grozav. Full heartedly recommend! The place has great amenities for the price, it is cozy and well stocked, and the host is such a wonderful and helpful person! We had a great time.

It’s a true paradise. A gorgeous place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Very authentic! Vladimir and his family also cook amazingly well. And there’s even a lovely bar right in the old barn. I sincerely recommend this home!

Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis pour se rapprocher d’Ogliss Park. Le logement correspond parfaitement au photo et à la description ! Super hôtes très accueillant, à l’écoute et très réactif. Le petit déjeuner est assez copieux c’était très sympa 😊 Un grand jacuzzi au top 👌 Il ne faut pas hésiter c’est super !

Hadde en magisk overnatting i prerievognen på Basnes i Aurskog-Høland 😍 Prerievognen sto med den mest fantastiske utsikten nede ved vannet. Med aftensol, morgen sol og panoramautsikt over sjøen. Ble tilog med et morgenbad på en fin sandstrand. Vi fikk oss også en skikkelig cowboy-opplevelse med Basnes trail rides i skog og mark, og ikke minst i vannet med hestene🤠🐴 Ellers var det bare å nyte roen og freden på denne perlen av et sted. Med hest og vann som utsikt. God og frisk luft i vognen, ikke klamt. Anbefales på det sterkeste🙌 Vi kommer tilbake, takk for oss🌸

We stayed for a full week at the Casa for a family holiday. The house was perfect for what we needed - plenty of indoor and outdoor space, well-appointed throughout and with a great swimming pool, garden and barbecue area. The house and gardens are in a very secluded, elevated position with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and the town of Vejer. We can’t wait to return!

Ik ben al een aantal keer in het huisje van Myriam geweest en het is altijd heel fijn. Goeie communicatie heel gastvrij en vriendelijk. Tot de volgende keer!

Abbiamo trascorso una giornata di Pasquetta semplicemente perfetta in questa splendida casa. Eravamo in otto e siamo stati comodissimi: gli spazi sono ampi, curati e accoglienti, perfetti per godersi un momento di relax in compagnia. Una delle sorprese più belle è stata poter vedere da vicino i cavalli: un’esperienza che ha reso tutto ancora più speciale, soprattutto per chi di noi ama la natura e gli animali. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Marco, l’host, che è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile fin dal primo momento. Anche quando abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà ad accendere la brace, lui si è subito reso disponibile per aiutarci, con grande pazienza e sorriso. Non possiamo poi non menzionare la dolcissima madre di Marco, che è stata di una gentilezza unica, facendoci sentire accolti come in famiglia. Tutto è stato perfetto: l’organizzazione, l’atmosfera, l’ospitalità. Una giornata che porteremo nel cuore e che speriamo di ripetere presto. Consigliatissimo!
