The Family Casita is the guest wing to a family home with a private separate entrance. This is a large elegant adobe with thick walls that keep it cool in the summer and provide old world charm. A very spacious 900 square foot studio space, it has two original fireplaces, one in the eat-in kitchen, and one in the main room. There is a beautiful hand painted king sized bed and a Euro Lounger (that converts to a double bed), separated by a privacy wall. Dogs welcome. Sorry can't accept cats.

Slightly cooler for the altitude, our place is a respite from the heat but only 10 to 30 minutes from everything in the city. Conveniently located near trails, the tram, and the balloon fiesta. Please note we are on a dirt road with a few bumpy spots. ***** NOTE: FROM DECEMBER 1 THROUGH FEBRUARY 28 THE WEATHER NECESSITATES ALL WHEEL OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES.

Private entrance, fenced yard with table and chairs, bird feeders, and hammock, off street parking for 2 small cars. With good WIFI and the easy access to nature the casita is a comfortable refuge. I do accept pets, regardless of what it might say elsewhere in this listing. There is a $12 per pet fee per night to be left in cash on departure.
