Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Norway

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

This home was beautiful, and has stunning views of the nearby fjord. We stayed one night and would have gladly spent several more. There is a hot tub, movie room, games, hair dryer, and multiple kitchen amenities. I was impressed by the number of spaces to relax and enjoy the views. I hope to be able to explore Strand more in the future.

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

What a fantastic place to stay! Furnished 💚 with great attention to detail, it radiates an incredible calm. The location is simply unique - ideal for switching off and enjoying. From check-in to checkout, everything went smoothly. The furnishings are of high quality and there is everything you need. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The sauna is an absolute highlight - an unforgettable experience, especially at midnight sun! ☀️ The host was always available and very friendly. Overall, an exceptionally beautiful accommodation, perfect for relaxing – absolutely recommended!

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

What a wonderful and peaceful home! The view is breathtaking. We easily could have stayed longer.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he quickly came to the place and fixed it. Delightful heated pool. Quiet and peaceful area with short distance to the sea.

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

We would love to give even more than 5 stars! We have been there twice and it will certainly not be the last time. The house, the garden, the location and the view are simply fantastic! It is really a special place :) Jan Åsmund and Ingvild are also great hosts who are always friendly and easy to reach. It is also worth renting the boat, as it is a good way to explore the fjord. We 100% recommend the place.

The place was absolutely perfect, I have only positive things to say. Shielded from the city, but still very short to drive to the city. Excellent! Kamilla was very friendly and helpful with messages. 10/10.

Tremendous stay. Cabin is located in an extremely peaceful part of the forest, and the log cabin makes you feel right at home. Incredible opportunity to connect with nature, in a fabulous spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The private pool was a highlight — fully enclosed and perfect for relaxing with the family in complete privacy. The host was helpful and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

If I could sum up every part of the experience of this Airbnb into one word, it would be - LOVELY. What an amazing family on an incredible piece of land had since the 1600s, we had the best time, but be sure to book on either a Friday or Saturday so you can experience her bakery being open to the public!

What a great cottage and a great place!! The view is breathtaking and there are very nice hiking trails to walk from the cottage. The communication is very good and the cottage is equipped with all comforts and during the whole holiday contact with the owners is very easy. We have enjoyed 5 days in Norway and we will miss the place! Thanks for all the good care!

great cabin with a great view, lots of fish to catch and nature to explore

Egil’s home was a beautiful and comfortable haven in the middle of the most stunning scenery my family and I have ever seen. Waking up to that breathtaking view each day was really special. In spite of the constantly changing weather on the fjord in May, we were still able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub at the end of a day hiking. Egil provided us with so much good information and was always available to answer questions. He went out of his way to make a reservation for us at Christian Gaard for dinner, which was another unforgettable experience. We highly recommend doing this. Thanks so much Egil for everything. , We would love to return someday!

Most amazing experience that will heal you in every way. Would travel around the world for one night there. Very clean, perfect in every way. Anything you need is there and more. Host is incredible, kind, informative, calm. The view is one of a kind, magical in every way. Bed is so comfortable, sheets are clean and softest I’ve felt. My favorite part is how Hege has kept the natural aspect of this adventure. The trip to Heim is outstanding and just the short walk to to igloo is out of a fairytale. Will come back anytime I can. This is my absolute favorite destination. I’ve had every possible weather during the one night I stayed. And it didn’t matter what weather I had one was unique and beautiful in its own way. I was warm, comfortable and felt safe. The alpackas was adorable and the little one was sassy, I loved that. There were also alpacka yarn available to buy which I of course purchased. We had a great stay with our dogs. Clean, luxe cabin with an amazing view. If you greatly value a quiet, peaceful stay within nature like us, then this is the cabin for you.

Where do I start? If you're an interior freak like me, you'll probably love the place. Add the amazing surroundings and a hostess with an eye for detail and hospitality, and you have a full pot. We saw a moose with a small calf on the way up to the cabin. The dog and the undersigned fell out of the canoe on one occasion, but it was just to be regarded as a spice in everyday life. We dried our clothes over the cozy fireplace in the living room. The view…. Scenic views on all sides!
