Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Erinomainen sijainti; lentokentän ja lauttasataman puolivälissä, saavutettavissa kävellen samoin bussipysäkki kun jatkoimme matkaa. Rauhallinen sijainti, plussaa kun voi jättää matkatavarat loppupäiväksi ennen siirtymistä seuraavaan paikkaan.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im gemütlichen Camper von Christian und Susann! Die Lage war traumhaft – mitten in der Natur und doch nah am Ort. Alles war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Christian und Susann waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Isäntä oli mukava ja ystävällinen. Hän vaihtoi petivaatteet pyynnöstä ja tuli näyttämään miten kaasuhella toimii. Auton sai lähelle parkkiin joka teki mahoittumisesta yksinkertaista. Majoitus oli mukava ja edullinen ja siellä viihdyttiin oikein hyvin koko perheen kanssa.

It was a fantastic location for a fantastic price. The place was really clean and everything went really smooth. The town is pretty small so I could walk all around it and come back to the place in a pretty short time.

We had a wonderful experience as guests. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. Vegar, in particular, was very approachable and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!”

Erittäin mukava paikka majoittua. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja sijaitsi kauniilla paikalla. Koirakin oli huomioitu. Helppo oli lomailla.

Otroligt boende, centralt med gångavstånd till allt, väldigt bekvämt och fint boende. Vi var 2 personer med 2 labradorer som bodde där 1 natt och det var väldigt bekvämt, inte trångt och vi hade kunnat bo där fler nätter. Olga var en fantastisk och omtänksam värd! Vi kommer gärna tillbaks igen! Rekommenderar detta varmt! Väldigt prissvärt också för den platsen😍

Sehr sehr preiswerte Unterkunft für alle die ein paar Tage abseits von den großen Touristen Hotspots verbringen wollen. Man kann Schlitten fahren, Eisbaden und Zeit in der Sauna verbringen. Das Wohnmobil hat alles was man braucht, nur im Winter kein fließendes Wasser. Wer keinen enormen Komfort braucht, ist hier richtig. Helene hat mich außerdem zum Supermarkt und zur Fähre gefahren und mir damit sehr geholfen. Der Supermarkt ist zu Fuß ca 1,5 Stunden entfernt ✌🏼😄

Beautiful place, nice and cosy apartment and friendly hosts!! We were very satisfied overall, the apartment was exactly what we wanted, the location is good if you own a car (20min from the city center), the nature nearby is really really beautiful and peaceful and the hosts were very helpful and friendly! The only minor downside was that sometimes we could hear the owners that live right above the apartment.

Utrolig koselig sted og hosten svarte fort og var utrolig hyggelig. vi stor koste oss og anbefaler det veldig😌

Me and my boyfriend were welcomed by Sissel who explained everything we needed to know. The airbnb was on a farm property, but still very private. We used the sauna, the jacuzzi, cold plunge the spot has a beautiful view. The bathroom and shower was in the next door building but the there was an outdoor cold shower which we used. We found this airbnb because of its location close to the airport and to be honest it’s a perfect stay for a couple/ family or group of friends.

Anita was very kind and picked us up when our ferry arrived. The place is very comfortable and you’ll find everything you need. I would come back without hesitation :)

We rented the van for 5 nights and loved the flexibility it provided. Camp sites were easy to find, the van easy to drive. Fantastic way to experience the Faroe Islands. The van looked exactly like depicted and Beinta was kind, provided recommendations and responded quickly at check in/out.

We loved our stay in the caravan! it was always really warm and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Kristian was super helpful and it was amazing be able to hire his great car. He even dropped us to the bus stop on Sunday when we were leaving. The location was really convenient and easy to find and the views were beautiful. It was peaceful and private. We would definitely book here again!

Tout etait parfait, comme sur les photos, il faisait très bon dans la caravane et on a passé une super nuit. Tout est bien équipé, on a manqué de rien, et les hôtes étaient très accueillants et disponibles! Merci pour tout!!

Miriam is a great hostess. You can tell very quickly that she makes an effort and enjoys meeting new people. She always responded quickly to messages. She gave us tips for the area and looked after us. If you want to get to know your host, you've come to the right place. Definitely take up the offer to have dinner with her family!
