One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

We had a very relaxing 4-day vacation in Cloud 7 - and it was everything we hoped for. Perfect accommodation, welcoming hosts and a quiet and peaceful environment. 5 well-deserved stars for Daniel and Martin!

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

We were very satisfied with Mr. Hartmut and the accommodation. Was our 1st time at an AirBnB and a nice experience. Mr. Hartmut has apparently not received such good reviews for nothing. He always seemed very uncomplicated and friendly. Makes everything very transparent and fair. In our 4 days and 3 nights we felt comfortable and can not complain about the price, cleanliness and performance. Simply great, no lie. Thanks again for a nice time.

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Ines’ place is a dream. It’s located in a small village with a drive through the beautiful Schwarzwald forest. There is a small grocery store down the street with a meat market next to it and a bakery across from it. Not too far away are bigger grocery stores and shopping centers but we didn’t even find a need for those. The location is ideal for day trips to France and even Switzerland and returning to the tranquility of the house after a long day of exploring was wonderful. The host lives next door if you need anything but the rest of the house is surrounded by meadows and trees as far as the eye can see. The stars light up the sky at night, and sitting outside to watch them was a treat. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. If you are looking for a place to discover the black forest: this is the place to be. Walks from the frontdoor, gorgeous views in any weather and plenty to do in the area. Well stocked kitchen if you like to cook. We had a great stay with our 5,5 year old son.

Anett and her husband were lovely and did everything to make our stay easier: transport from Fribourg, recommendations for activities, smooth communication! We really enjoyed the setting and the activities offered in Todtnau.

A beautiful apartment with picturesque views! Really unique. The fresh mountain air did us good and the magnificent view, the apartment is very quiet and you can switch off very well. The apartment was very clean & had everything you need, even with a 9 month old baby. Unfortunately, for larger purchases you have to drive down into the valley, but otherwise for smaller purchases, there is a small shop nearby. Unfortunately, we then had a broken dishwasher but Anita and Kathi were very helpful & responded quickly. I can only recommend the apartment of the two ladies very much, was a totally pleasant communication. We will be happy to come back. 🙏🏽

Doris and Jürgen are perfect hosts! In addition to a warm, uncomplicated reception, we were welcomed with a well-stocked fridge and wonderful suggestions for our holidays in the soothingly bright, tastefully furnished and excellently equipped apartment. What joy when you are laughed out of every window of the Black Forest. With the nearby public transport, we could relax to the Nordic Center Notschrei for winter sports, enjoy fantastic huts and alpine panorama as well as explore the university city of Freiburg. During our stay, we experienced Fastnacht with traditional fools in classic but also modern costumes, who have successfully displaced the winter. I was delighted by the small weekly market, a few steps away, the nice Alsatian stalls with excellent cheese and many more. It was a successful vacation, thank you so much dear Doris & Jürgen!

Felix and his family have created a true oasis in the middle of the Black Forest. A place of rest that is perfect for slowing down and recharging your batteries. Pure idyll, only green in front of the window. In bad weather, the cozy, lovingly furnished apartment invites you to make a fire, read, cook and look out the window. In good weather, everything is open to you in the middle of the Black Forest. In 10 minutes by car to Himmelreich and then 15 minutes by S-Bahn you are in the beautiful Freiburg. We really enjoyed the 10 days and especially the bad weather days. Thank you, dear Felix, for sharing this wonderful place with other people.

We had a great time. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed. We felt at home and would like to stay there again.

We were also very warmly welcomed by Christopher personally at a late hour with sweet treats and drinks. He even helped unload. The apartment is as in the photos very appealing and well equipped. The bathroom is not the most modern, but is well preserved and clean (small tip: while someone is showering, it is best not to take water elsewhere because otherwise the shower water can get very hot). The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and the living area very comfortable. Even games such as UNO, Kniffel, Scotland Yard, etc. were available. The kitchen was very spacious and everything was available (spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee pods, paper towels, dish soap, sponge, cookware and of course pots, plates, pans, glasses). Christopher responded immediately to requests and was always helpful. We felt very welcome and can recommend this apartment without restrictions.

Idyllic annexe to a beautiful home where the hosts reside. We went for a short stay with our two young daughters who loved the ample, mature garden with swings and slide, backing onto the forest. Plenty to do in Freiburg of course, besides Schawzwald, peacefully located just outside to enable a stroll or bike ride in if desired. Tastefully decorated with stunning views, Andreas and Catja were responsive, flexible and friendly as were all family members! Would recommend for a short stay. Thank you both!

We (2 adults, 1 child) had a nice stay at Monika's place. Thanks to your directions, you can easily get to the accommodation. The location is very nice and ideal for starting long hikes right outside the front door. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen contains everything you need for self-catering and grocery stores can be reached in a few minutes by car. We met Monika shortly before we left. She is very nice and helpful and can also be reached quickly by email during her absence. Ultimately, we can only recommend the accommodation and a holiday with Monika.

great hosts that make great tasting wine!

Verena and Rudi’s home was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). They were such kind hosts who made us feel so welcome. The setting on the banks of the Rhine is incredible. We swam in the river every day, enjoyed their lovely pool, and loved the beautiful view. Already wondering when we can come back next!

Great and clean apartment in a beautiful area

Great and beautiful remote location to find some peace and quiet in the Schwarzwald!

We felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything possible, there are many games and books - also a game of patience that we unfortunately could not solve 😅 In about 8 minutes at the bus stop, with the bus only running very sporadically on Sunday. On foot, however, you can also reach Paula-Modersohn Square in about 15-20 minutes and from there take the light rail towards Freiburg. Would definitely come again!

Very nice accommodation and very well-equipped. I had a good stay there and I didn't miss anything. The place was well appointed and decorated. Big plus for Nicole's little touches, I've rarely seen an Airbnb so well equipped! We just had to put our suitcases down. I recommend it 200%, go there with your eyes closed!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully designed apartment. We particularly liked that there is a lot of nature all around and the apartment is so harmoniously designed. There was all the equipment we needed. The garden is also great, with various corners where you can make yourself comfortable.
