Beach house holiday rentals in Oceanside

I recently stayed at this beach house, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the stunning ocean views. The house itself was immaculate, nicely decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. I especially loved the deck where my family and I enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The bedrooms were also cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like coffee, snacks, and beach towels provided for our use. Casago management is also very responsive!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

Spent 2 nights here and it was great! It was so close to the beach it was probably a <1 minute walk. It is close to the train station as well as the lively part of town. Lots of food and bars near by. Place was clean and we brought our 2 dogs and it was nice it had a front patio to hang out at. Everything was smooth checking in and out and the hosts were super kind and responsive. I would probably suggest updating some thing about the place, but other than that it was a peaceful stay. ✌️

We had a wonderful five night staying at Katie' s home. There are so many little touches that you can see the love and care she has taken for you to have a lovely stay. There was nothing we needed that we didn't find....to the point that when we brought so groceries in we purchased spices as we would normally for an air bnb...there was no need a huge selection. We enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. Our family consisted of my husband and myself, so we took one room. Our daughter, son in law and four year old grandson. As well as our other adult daughter. There was more than enough room for all. If you are considering but hesitant on price ...you won't be sorry if you do it. Her entire vibe and little touches make the experience as well. Right down to a turntable and a few great albums. Thanks for a lovely time. PS. take a moment to read her home manual, you will never be sorry, as you are staying in her home.

We loved how close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, and coffee shops. We also enjoyed bringing our dog who loved the outdoor patio we would definitely stay again. Cute place and very clean.

Second time staying here, would probably even stay more often if pets were allowed! Either way, this place is absolutely the best. Great views, tons of space, near the pier, and on and on. Its walking distance to everything and just far enough away to not be a zoo all day. Just book it, this is it.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Had a wonderful stay! Inside was amazing and enough room for 10 teenagers! We arrived a couple hours early and they allowed us to check in early which was a plus! Highly recommend staying here.

What a great place to stay! The views were amazing and so nice to sleep to the surf. Plenty of room the spread out and great to enjoy the couch or table while swatching the surf. Kitchen was great and beds were comfortable. Beach was a 5 min walk down the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants around. Wyatt was great to communicate with. Definitely will be back!

Perfect house in a such. great location. Nice quiet neighborhood just minutes from all the fun. We rented a golf cart and had so much fun exploring the area! The kitchen was perfect, I was able to cook just like I was in my own home. Our family of 4 stayed along with another couple and we all had great privacy with a second full baths and bedroom on the first floor. Having the laundry available was amazing to pack clean clothes to take back home. The back yard was beautiful and private and much fun was had! If we find ourselves in Oceanside in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the West House again! The owners were quick and helpful when we needed to reach out. Highly recommend this stay!

Perfect home for a family of 5 for a SoCal vacation! Home has everything you need and was so very relaxing whether we were hanging inside or outside. Front has a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy rocking chairs with our morning coffee and in the evening, an outdoor big couch for all of us to sit around the firepit for smores and cocktails. Quick walk to the beach and short easy walks to Carlsbad Village to eat, shop, etc. Mimi & Hank referrals to restuarants were spot on! Finally, easy ride to San Diego for zoo, and some delicious Mexican food. Thank you Mimi & Hank for making our annual family vacation absolutely perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and hosts were had good communication. Parking was readily available out front and check in and out was very easy.

We enjoyed the house immensely! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a meal, the beds were very comfortable, and both the front and backyard were nice for relaxing. We travel with our dog so we really appreciated the enclosed back yard, and the park right across the street was lovely for a morning and evening walk. It was a very warm week in Carlsbad so we spent most of our time on the shady side front yard. So many Airbnbs have plastic chairs for outdoors, we greatly appreciated the comfortable chairs in both the front and back yard. I was worried about the small air conditioner because it was such a hot week, but it worked great! Everything was perfect for us!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s an amazing layout, comfortable, private areas that are inviting. The view from the front porch and the rooftop are fabulous. Clean. Everything you need and more. This really was one of my best Airbnb experiences. Super close to LEGOLAND. One right turn and you are there. Beach views and access. I would stay here again. I fact. I’m planning my next trip and will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated, it had such a warm, welcoming feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony in the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The home had everything we needed, with all the amenities thoughtfully provided. Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time! The decor and style is beautiful and matches the photos exactly. We had a small issue in the beginning but Evan quickly resolved it. We had plenty of space for our group of 6 and a great kitchen with supplies for cooking meals. The ocean was just a quick 8 min walk and the pier about 20 min walk, which made things way easier than fighting for parking. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The main bedroom bath tub is fantastic for a nice relaxing soak. The windows and doors let in such a nice breeze through the house. The kids loved the games and beach toys available and it was nice to be able to run a quick wash in the laundry before we headed out. Would absolutely stay here again!
