Monthly Rentals in Old Man of Hoy

Lovely setting. Despite being on a busy main road we did not feel this disturbed our peace, slept well on comfy beds. Great for walking to Stones of Stenness and Ring of Brodgar. Also for Maeshowe. There are limited footpaths but walking on the road felt safe as all vehicles gave room to us. Bus services were good and on the whole on time - a day pass was good value Only problem was that we had not brought food (no vehicle ) so on arrival had hoped to eat at hotel nearby, unfortunately they did not serve food. Fortunately there was a very welcome welcome pack from Kayleigh which was much appreciated

From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed and at home. The decor is quirky and perfect for a holiday vibe, the bed linen and towels all smelled lovely and everything was beautifully clean. I really enjoyed my few days there and would highly recommend it as a venue for exploring Orkney.

Lovely location and we really enjoyed living in the cottage and visiting places on the island.

Very enjoyable stay. Surprisingly close to sea front and riverside yet very quiet location with always spaces to park nearby. Liked Thurso. Flat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Warm and cosy.
