Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Old Town, San Diego

We met Rachel by chance at check-in. She greeted us very kindly and immediately showed us the entrance. The accommodation matches the pictures with many small details. Great location, as only a few minutes' walk to Little Italy ( great restaurants ), the harbor and Balboa Park. The only points of criticism (are, however, personal concerns and matters of opinion): The mattress was too uncomfortable for us, as a hollow forms when lying down for a long time. In addition, you could not open a window to ventilate, which was difficult because the entire accommodation is open and you cannot close off any area separately. ( Odor from eating and bathroom steam ) Also, it was a bit dark in the accommodation as not much daylight comes in. Partly very loud due to the opposite highway and the landing planes. We felt very comfortable and would stay here again.

We had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kitchenette. Parking was easy. The space was just right for two of us and we were able to relax each day after sightseeing. I enjoyed reading one of the books Anna had stocked in the room. Anna was easy to get a hold of and gave us recs for sites and restaurants.

Our stay at Nathan’s was great! We loved the quiet, safe location near Mission Bay. It is 1 block from the extensive bike paths through out the bay and over to Pacific and Mission Beaches. It is a simple studio, but is well equipped with everything you need, including a washer/dryer. The thick towels and nice linens were great! We enjoyed having the private backyard patio to relax with our old dog, and used the parking space as well. The location is close to restaurants in PB and also close to the freeway to get to other sights in San Diego. We extended our stay several times and were able to communicate easily with Nathan, Adam and their management team. We hope to come back again! Thank you Nathan!

This was our second time staying at Christopher's Airbnb! We love the University Heights neighborhood and this rental is in the perfect location - walkable to lots of coffee shops and restaurants! Although we did not have any issues, the renters were very responsive in communication. Will continue using this rental for future San Diego visits!

JP and Ana are responsive gracious hosts! Here for work travel and my place is exactly what I need. Close to north park, and quite at night to relax.

Jessica’s place is great! Views are amazing. Place is clean. Location was perfect. And parking wasn’t too bad if you’re strategic with return times. Would recommend 12/10 times.

Adam was an absolute lifesaver. After being left stranded by another host, I sent a last-minute request and he responded right away with kindness and professionalism. The home was immaculate, with so many thoughtful and charming touches that made me feel right at home. The space was quiet, the water pressure and temperature were perfect, and everything was just as described. There was a minor issue with a guest accidentally taking my parking spot, but Adam resolved it immediately—he was truly on top of everything. This stay turned what could’ve been a stressful night into a peaceful and welcoming experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend booking with Adam !

We like the place! Easy parking

This was an absolutely unforgettable place. Anthony and his wife, Shannon, were perfect hosts. They left a binder with plenty of great recommendations of places around the area to check out, and on our first night when we were out shopping for groceries, they were more than happy to provide some essentials (cooking oil, spices, etc.)! The place itself feels so cozy and was an excellent little getaway. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend (now fiancée) here, and Anthony and Shannon left us so gorgeous flowers and a note as a congratulations. I really can’t speak higher of this place. It’s so welcoming and you really can’t find nicer, more respectful hosts. TLDR: easily the best stay in San Diego! You’re going to love it!

Wonderful place to stay!! Check in instructions were incredibly clear, and the hosts very helpful and responsive to any questions I had. The pictures are a great representation of the place; very cozy, light filled, clean, and comfortable. I really enjoyed being within a short walking distance to Petco Park while still being able to explore some of the neighborhoods in San Diego easily. I would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you!

This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Jing, for your hospitality. We hope to stay here again, soon!

Dominic was a great host. The space came with everything we needed and then some. Free snacks was a great plus. Also the AC unit was an unexpected plus.

We loved Max's place. Big open room concept and walkable to many restaurants in the neighborhood. Loved the outdoor area as well.

Daniel's San Diego home was an absolute dream come true for our family of six! It far surpassed all our expectations and stands out as our best Airbnb experience to date. The amenities were simply amazing – the game room, movie theater, pool, and spa provided endless fun and relaxation for everyone. Daniel was also incredibly responsive whenever we had questions. We genuinely hope to stay here again on our next visit to San Diego!

Such a beautiful place to stay at! So many things nearby that you don’t have to go far to enjoy the space. Bills home felt like home with a beautiful view!

Everything about Nathan's and Ryan's home was "chef's kiss" perfection for our family [my husband and me, and our daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons (ages 3 and 5)]! The way the home is designed really impressed us. We loved the floor plan, attention to detail (complete with toddler stool & all the amazing kiddo/baby needs!), and overall extremely well executed Mid-Century aesthetic. Our grandsons lived in the lovely pool, and while we adults sometimes joined them, we really enjoyed the various wonderful and relaxing hang-out areas of the backyard throughout the day and evening. We loved staying there, and will not hesitate to come again and recommend it to anyone in need of a superb recommendation of a fabulous Airbnb in San Diego. The boys lived in the pool.

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place in San Diego! The condo was clean, centrally located and very spacious. The gated garage was awesome, and we loved staying on an upper floor with great views. We arrived very late in the night, and Kim was kind enough to stay awake to meet us with the keys and codes. We had a great time staying there during the long weekend!

Place is clean and has an amazing view, Savana was responsive. Parking is a great.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Overall, a good stay. The Airbnb accommodated my needs, and I did not need to make any additional requests. A walkable neighborhood with different convenient stores and coffee shops. Molly was good with communication.

This place was absolutely amazing. Every detail and decoration was perfect, the views were surreal, located ideally in the middle of pacific beach. Able to walk to coffee every morning and enjoy ocean views from the comfort the living room. Host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Really couldn’t ask for anything more from an AirBnB!

This unit is quite lovely and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is a downstairs unit with a parking space. Super cute. Backyard patio is so peaceful and best enjoyed with a croissant, cup of coffee, and a book. BTW, great coffee in walking distance. Location, location, location. Great neighborhood in University Heights. Park and stores nearby. Not the big box ones, but the local owned restaurants and shops. We needed milk for coffee at 8 p.m. So we just walked down to the "liquor store" at the corner. Convenient, safe, and quick. If you want T**get or the mall (Fashion Valley), they are a 10-15 min drive away. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, towels, soap, laundry, pots/pans, dishes, kcups/keurig, smart TV, etc. There were visitors upstairs that we could hear periodically, but they went to bed at a reasonable hour, so no problem there. Kevin and Tony were pleasant to work with and responded to a question within 5 min.
