The Noddle is a lovely, eco-friendly home on the peaceful, stunning island of Hoy, overlooking Scapa Flow. The house is full of natural light and heated by a Wood Burner + Air Source Heating. The garden leads to it's own Beach, perfect for paddle-boarding, beach- combing and swimming. The land includes a woodland area, wild flowers and river frontage all within 6 acres. Wild life includes: Orca's, Otters, Hen Harriers, Sea Eagles, Seals + many sea birds. On clear nights stars adorn the heavens.

The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

North Walls Kirk

North Walls Kirk, situated on the picturesque island of Hoy, has been lovingly renovated to provide an extensive and unique self-catering property. Work has been done with minimum conflict to its original purpose and with the retention of many of the original features. The spectacular gothic arched windows mean that the space is bathed in light of a particular quality giving an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Furnishings have been selected to compliment this unique style and environment.

It is a small, well equipped space, 13.3m2 with kitchen and showerroom off, ideally located a few minutes flat walk from Kirkwall town centre and Orkney College with sea views across Kirkwall Bay. Ample FREE parking. Late (even midnight) arrival is fine, just let yourself in. Rigorous cleaning always.

Marston's Black Rock Cabin is set entirely on the ground floor. It features a living-room with a pull-out sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy bedroom, bathroom and its private hot tub. We are in an ideal central location to holiday on Sanday in Lady Village. We are just a minute-walk to the local shop, bicycle hire and post office. A 20-minute steady walk will take you to the play park, pool and gym. The cabin's private entrance is located on a quiet track leading to a pebbly beach.

Toft

On the outskirts of the historic town of Stromness in the West Mainland of Orkney, this single-story barn conversion has one bedroom, an open-plan living/dining/kitchen space, and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.

Cosy cottage by the sea

Relax at this peaceful cosy cottage right in the heart of The Palace village in the beautiful parish of Birsay where nature and history are right on your doorstep. Watch seals play in the bay a few steps from the cottage beside the imposing ruins of the historic Earls Palace. Just a short walk away you can cross the tidal path to the Broch of Birsay and spot a puffin or two! The cottage is situated at the end of the 1st leg of The St.Magnus Way and the start of the 2nd.

Nistaben is within easy walking distance of the pier, airport, shop, archaeological and historical sites, RSPB North Hill Nature Reserve, local amenities and The Hot Tub Sanctuary. Trowietoon is a small cottage built in 1933, it is a quirky little cottage set a stones throw away from Newark Beach. It is a peaceful location and the perfect quiet getaway When the weather is stormy, the views of the beach are amazing, the raging sea crashing onto the shore, viewing from the cosy conservatory what more could you wish for Should you want to book less than the minimum nights required then please get in touch as this may still be possible

The Bothy has NO TV The bed is a box bed that measures 6 feet by 4 feet 6inches. Bedding and towels supplied in an open-plan bedsit with kitchen the cooker is a mini table top cooker 2 hot plates and small oven also a microwave. Wetroom shower and toilet. There is no TV. Bothy is the building on the right hand side of the photo.MAXIMUM GUESTS IS TWO NO CHILDREN UNDER FIVE. No smoking anywhere and no pets. Wifi is in The Bothy
