Relax on the peaceful island of Orø

During the season, Orø offers a number of cafes and restaurants, a cozy mini zoo, playground and child-friendly beach. The cottage is located on the edge of a small peaceful forest with birds and deer. Large lawn, surrounded by trees. Good for playing and playing ball. There is a sun terrace with beautiful sun loungers and a covered terrace that provides space for cozy activities. From the house, it is 5 minutes to the water on foot to your own beach and 5 minutes by car to Orø's best and child-friendly beach.

Suitable for families. No parties. 6 beds (two bunk beds and one double) in the main house and a bunk bed and 1.5 man bed in the annex. Best suited for 6-8 people. Large terrace, gas grill, outdoor shower, trampoline. High chair, no crib. Cleaning is mandatory. Bring your own bed linen and towels. No smoking house.

Enjoy the lovely surroundings in one of our 2 cozy Tiny Houses. Get in gear and enjoy our animals in the beautiful nature, with fields as far as the eye can see and maybe a trip in the kayak or hot tub. Cook in the kitchen, on the grill or over a fire. We have sheep, lots of chickens, and mischievous cats, and starting in March, we'll have little lambs out in the field. This delightful place offers a history setting all on its own. Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Cozy Summerhouse by Forest on Island near CPH

Our lovely summerhouse is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a mix of old and new furniture in our own nordic style. During summertime you can use our terrasses, zipline,trampoline, campfire etc in our hilly garden next to the small forest. If you are lucky you can watch deer on their walk crossing our garden in the morning.
