Relax with the whole family in this peaceful and cozy log cabin called "Fossegløs". You can sit in the built-in Jacuzzi and enjoy the view of the river and the waterfall Støylefossen. You can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (about 2 hours), Loen with Loen Skylift (1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye (1 hour) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5 hours), and take mountain trips on foot or by ski to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

In summer, Bakketunet is open to individual visitors with cultural programs and activities. Among other things, is the Indiefjord music festival. If you love nature and outdoor life, Sunnmøre has a lot to offer. The loft in no. 10 is a good resting place between hikes and excursions. A cup of coffee on the porch and some sheep grazing, while you look over the entire Ørstafjorden, gives peace and recreation.

Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can be rented and enjoy the tranquility and nice view of the Hjørundfjord. There is also a private harbor with the possibility to rent a boat. Price per day: 16 ft 15/20 horsepower NOK 600 plus petrol. 18 ft 30 horsepower NOK 850 per day. Gasoline is in addition to what the customer uses. Life jackets can be borrowed. All boat rentals are at your own risk

Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit. In Ørsta, 20 min. away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
